Faolan wanders his new territory freely. He loves it: Not only does it fit his agility and skills perfectly, but he enjoys the challenge of the terrain and the closeness to the sky. It is similar to the feeling of flying when he was a spirit.
As he steps lightly on the gravel he ponders. He had been hoping to become beta of a pack someday, and then maybe leader, though he didn't think that possible at the time. The rank of beta was about the closest rank he could get to be equivalent to a respected spirit wolf in his old world. even though he'd had to leave his old life behind, he wanted to try to live it as close as he can to make up for it.
He pauses and lifts his face to the breeze, his eyes closed. It feels to cool and refreshing. He opens his eyes again and takes a deep breath of the crisp air. Yes, he would not want to leave this pack. The territory was so perfect. He is as close to his ancestors and previous life as he could get, and he was attached to the spacious atmosphere that never ceased.
He steps to the patchy shade of a scraggly pine tree. Again, he thinks, Should I go to the leader to speak about the possibility of becoming beta? Or should I do nothing but subtly shine my characteristics to the pack and Lucid and hope that they take notice of me?
He shrugs to himself. But he had come to a decision. He starts off towards the middle of the territory. He keeps on alert for a fellow pack member or for Lucid herself. He stops and lets out a short howl, calling any wolf who hears him to attention.

“listen big kid!” Fae exclaimed pounding upon kavus head with her dainty white paws. “who’s that? Do we know them” Kavu raised his head, ears pricked to the beautiful melody echoing through the skies. “I don’t think so” he murmured, eyes contorted with worry. He was always weary of new wolves, what if one where to hurt his poor little may flower? He would never be able to live with himself if she where to leave his side. “hey stop being a wuss” Fae laughed kicking at his wing joint with her good leg, the other still bleeding occasionally whenever she grew to active.
“hey, watch it small fry” haven laughed hitting Fae gently with his wing, “well I suppose we should go see who that is eh” fau laughed excitedly before settling herself down for the ride. Kavu was always careful when he ran, he knew she was small and could be thrown from his back and these rare occasions he would actually thank the gods for the wings upon his back. He hated them with all his might but with them there he could keep her safe…
The musky scent of male created his wrinkled nose, this wasn’t good at all. Kavu slowed to a stop before glancing over his shoulder at the wolf pup, her fur was tinged with grey now. She was dirty. “how about we just leave him and go have a bath in the springs” Fae eyed him curiously. “your scared” “am not” Kavu huffed pulling himself back into a steady jog.
The wolf in question had stopped howling now, it was Fae who saw his form first. “there see! Right over there” Kavu slowed before walking over, stopping a few feet away. “you called” he asked weary of the new wolfs presence. “hey there new big kid! Im Fae!” she giggled excitedly. “what your name…?”

Faolan tilts his head at the odd (to him) pair. "Hello, I'm new here. My name is Faolan and I just recently got accepted into the pack." He stops and twitches his wings, wondering if he should tell these two about his request, then mentally shrugs to himself and decides it doesn't matter. "Well, I was hoping to speak to Lucid about becoming beta. It seems there is no beta at this time, and I was interested in the position." He lowers his head. "Do you think that is possible?"
While waiting for an answer he silently sniffs them. They smell like the mountain air, the female slightly dustier, he observes in mild amusement. He shakes his silver head and stretches his wings, thinking how ruffled he feels. I haven't eaten or swum for a while, he thinks. I'll have to go to the river soon. He focuses back in on the two wolves in front of them and surveys them. He notices how protective the male seems of the female, even in motionlessness. (OOC: Sorry, I don't know the ages or colors of them so I'll have to refer to them as 'male one' and 'female one'.) He looks at her lovingly and without realizing it is constantly looking around for signs of danger.[/i]
Just then he decides on something. He mentally chuckles, They'll sure get to know me after this. He slyly lifts his wings, pushes down, and in midair turns invisible, seeming to vaporize. He silently and without detection flaps above them, amused at their expressions of confusion.[/color]
