Carabella walked through the mountains, trying not to make a sound. She smelled scent markers a while back and she knew she was intruding. All she wanted to do was get through this section of their territory, to get to the other side of the mountain.
She knew this pack would not want her, no one ever would. Why would they? She wasn't pretty like all the other wolves, she wasn't thin and nimble. She wasn't like them. She kept creeping along silently, listening with her ear, and her mind for any noises, whether they be thoughts, or actions.
Paying so much attention to listening for others, she was paying no attention to were she was walking. She stepped on a stick "Damnit, why do I have to be so clumsy!?" She looked around, beginning to panic, hoping to all the God's in the sky who probably didn't care about her, that their was no wolves in close enough vicinity to hear the noise and attack her. She strained her ears foward, trying to hear, anything.

It had been quite sometime since Channing had passed through the mountains. Then again, he rarely passed through any territory unless he had sensed a wondering fae. He rather enjoyed being an empath and he used it to his advantage as best he could. Much like now: He was merely flying between territories when he felt a soft hearted fae wondering through the mountain pack. And she definitely wasn't a part of the pack.
Channing stretched his angelic wings and allowed the sun the hit his gold fur just right, the look of a shooting star present. He let out a soft chuckle as she attempted to be sneaky. He dove brilliantly and landed with a soft put-put next to her. His ice blue eyes took in her appearance quickly. Almost as if calculating. The 'c' around her eye was beautiful, right along with the color of her eyes and claws. Her fur was even gorgeous. Oh course, not as gorgeous as his own, but he was conceited like that.
A very smooth smirk placed itself on his pointed maw as he cocked one of his brows. "You may want to be a bit more careful, Gorgeous. I hear the alpha around here isn't the nicest." He began to pace around her, circling her. "Then again, with the looks you behold, I'm sure you won't have a problem." He paused at her side and inhaled, taking in her scent. "So what are you doing around these parts, Gorgeous?"

Bella startled when a golden wolf landed down beside her, her multicolored blue eyes took in everything about him in a quick overlook. He was gorgeous, meaning he was making fun of her by calling her gorgeous, typical.
She closed her eyes and looked into his mind, carefully probing all his thoughts. He was conceited, he thought he was better than everyone else around him, but then again who wouldn't with his looks. Carabella sighed and opened her eyes once more.
"I am far from gorgeous, and I have a name" she said indignatly, the least he could do was ask it when he landed down beside her, "It's Carabella."
'If I come across the alpha I don't know what I'm going to do, I can't join this pack, if all the wolves around here look like him I will NOT fit in. And if he is as mean as this brute says he is, he won't welcome me into his pack.' She thought to herself.
"And your is?" she asked blinking slightly, tiredly, as if the encounter and acting strong around him tired her out. She sat back quietly, no sense in continuing walking having already been caught. At least this loner caught her instead of the alpha.

"Now, now, aren't we a fiesty one." Channing smirked and sat down infront of her as she stopped walking. She seemed slightly angered, with maybe a touch of sadness. What an odd combination. He licked his teeth and peered deep into Carabella's multi-colored blue eyes. "What a beautiful name.... Carabella." He let her name roll off his tongue like thick honey.
Standing up, Channing walked closer to Carabella and dropped his head, their noses almost touching. "Mind if I call you Bella?" He nudged her nose before sitting down again. The sun reflected off his coat with a vibrant glow, but for once, Channing didn't worry about it. He was far to entranced by the unique blue that surrowned Bella's eye. "The name is Channing. But you can call me whatever you want, Gorgeous." He cocked his head to the side as a new emotion engulfed him, "And don't fret too much about the alpha. Like I said, you're gorgeous, you have nothing to worry about." Channing smirked again, his ice blue eyes sparkled softly.

She was in charge... and yes, she was.. not her brother Crow. She hadn't seen him, which in her own opinion was for the better... she told her parents she would tell him... but if she didn't see him, she didn't have to tell him, now did she? Smirking to herself, she spread her wings and stretched them. She had slowly begun to learn how to fly, though she was a little slow on the landings. Her large size made it slightly difficult, but other than that, she was doing rather well. She was still sour that her brother had learned before she had, but she had to get over that because of the fact that she didn't like being in any shadow, specifically his. Not to mention, Haven had left the packlands, though she didn't care that much... he had weak tendencies.
She had been gliding through the air, her flamed paws below her, tucked neatly to her stomach and her large, nearly white form matched well with the clouds that were high up on the mountains. She had searched the lands with her brilliant eyes that matched Lucids nearly perfectly. Only difference was she had pupils. Her off-white fur was on the scruffier side and had longer fur around her neck and her tail. The tips of the longer tufts of hair on her tail and her neck were flamed, fading perfectly into her fur, much like highlights. After scanning the terrain that she was in charge of, she caught sight of two wolves conversing far below. Raising an eyebrow, she flicked her tail and landed a little ways away from them in order to listen for a moment before approaching.
"What do you two think you are doing? Do you not realize whose lands you grace?" [/b] She padded slowly forward, her size on the far larger side of wolves, taking after her father in that aspect. Slowly, she looked from one wolf to the other and waited for them to respond. She stood her full height in a very dominant position and waited.[/blockquote]

"Channing, nice name," she said, thinking 'Alot better than mine', the brutes eyes were shineing at her, and he had called her gorgeous again! "Yes, you may call me Bella." She said answering his question. Her wings twitched slightly at the scrutinty of the male wolf. His golden pelt shined in the sunlight, it's color bounced around, and cast a golden glow around them. Another wolf landed beside them, this one showing dominance, but hadn't Channing said there was an alpha? Well maybe this was the alphess? "H-hello, I am Carabella, I was just passing through, trying to find a place to settle, I am sorry to have intruded on your territory." she said bowing her head slightly to show submission, but not to much. This fae was equally as beautiful as Channing. Bella peeked into her mind and found her thinking of herself, about how she was better than her brothers, and that she was in charge here. She was pretty, her paws were flaming, and her eyes were a frightening yellow. This fae was not someone to mess with. She flew clumsily, and landed pretty clumsily as well, as if she was just learning, she seemed fairly young to be the leader of this pack, but if thats the way they did things she would not judge. Rolling his eyes at the fae who had just interupted them, Channing sat down and let out an irritated sigh. That was one of Lucid's kids alright. She reaked of dominance and high-n-mighty. Channing could sence Bella's discomfort. Quickly, he stood up and placed himself beside her, slightly blocking her from the other fae's view. "I know I'm handsome, but I'm not an idiot. I've had a few run-ins with Lucid. Now where is the big brute and why did he put you in charge?"
He'd never joined the pack, but he'd flown through it a few times, figuring out who was who and what their purpose was. Lucid was one brute Channing wouldn't mess with... even if they did have a few of the same ideas in mind. Channing glanced at Bella and smiled, "You have nothing to worry about, I promise you." He straightened his back and stood to his fullest. Luckily, he was about two to three inches taller than the fae, which gave him a small ego boost.

Carabella stifled a sigh when Channing stood up to the fae, she didn't want to get into trouble. And this was not the normal leader? Bella nudged his shoulder, a weird move for her, and scooted around him slightly still next to him but so that she could see the fae.
Channing thought about being taller than the fae, and that made him happy. Bella giggled very quietly, so that only she and maybe Channing could hear. When she nudged him, her brain noted his scent, a masculine, woodsy scent, she liked it.
Carabella looked over to the female, the one who was so dominate in her posture for a wolf who wasn't in charge. Bella probed deeper into her mind, finding out her father was away, and she was cocky, because she had beat her brother here. She had two brothers, Crow, and...Haven? Yes, yes Haven. She was not alphess her mother was, and she was the daughter of the alpha and the alphess.
All this knowledge made her feel slightly better. Along with Channig being there to protect her. Not that she needed prtecting. [/color]

"You should show more respect to those you first meet. Appearances can be decieving..." Her voice, oddly sinister, echoed out before her small body entered into the light beside Tola, yet no too close for comfort. As usual, her almost glowing eyes held a certain knowledge to them, almost haunting. They knew too much, for one her age.
Elva pawed at the ground absently with a clawed paw, raking tiny furrows in the earth as she stared at the two new wolves. Her instincts told her the fae would not make waves, but the brute was too cocky. Tola was cocky too, yet she had power. Those with power can afford to be cocky.
"Perhaps you should rephrase that last sentence, as if you were adressing a superior" Her voice was monotonous, yet high-pitched, and it sounded eerily threatening as she sat, relaxing a little, her small tail curling around her legs.
Never once did she look at Tola, but she felt her there. She felt she needed to be near the Alpha's children, even though they were so much larger and stronger than her own self. She was, after all, a mere pup. But she felt she should stay near, just in case. However, what could she do? Only take the pain unto herself.

Tola growled at the brute, the sound deep and menacing. She was obviously strong and could easily hold her own, and it was obviously apparent in her build and her stance, having grown up with Crow. She could pin him down easily still, even though he was larger than herself. Flicking her tail behind her and stretching her wings slightly in a threatening manner, she spoke.
"If you wish to remain living on these lands for long, you will show the proper respect. Because I am in charge, you will address me as if I were Lucid. Now, you need to stop asking the questions and tell me what you are doing here." [/b] She flicked her tail once more, her voice holding ice and daggers, daring him to push her buttons. She was very like her father in many ways, including the temper. She glared at the brute, her glowing golden eyes holding much malice and menace in them. One wrong move, and she would tear this wolf before her to shreds. She heard Elva come up next to her. She often liked the presence of this pup, though she wasn't entirely sure why. When the pup spoke, she had a little more respect for her as she stood up and reiterated the points that Tola was trying to make. Smirking ever so slightly to herself, she held her eyes on the brute before her, daring him to make one wrong move.[/blockquote]

"I'm Carabella, and I am just passing through, unless I may join your pack?" Bella repeated herself, adding that she wouldn't mind staying if allowed. Though Channing's behavior was a bad idea for himself, and maybe her, it was still fairly funny.
When this new wolf came up, Bella read her mind as well, getting to know everyone secretly. She seemed, depressed, sad and hopeless. She felt confort at being by the mysterious, "superior" fae and the fae felt confort at being beside the newcomer.
Bella nuged Channing warnl=ingly, feeling confortable around him for some odd reason, he was cocky, and from what she had gathered about him and this fae, kind of rude. Still though Bella liked him, he was nice to her, she didn't know why, she didn't deserve it, but he was, and she liked that.

Tola watched the brute and flicked her tail. She listened to the female speak and pondered for a moment. She seemed genuine enough, so why not? Tola, flicking her tail once more, she spoke.
"You may join the pack, but you will be a subordinate until you can truly prove your loyalty to the packlands. Until then, you will help with the cleaning of the dens and attend to the more senior pack members needs." [/b] Tola looked at her with her golden glowing eyes, much like her fathers in color and with the glowing properties, but normal in every other way, like her mothers. She paused for a moment longer, turning a glance toward Elva. Then a thought struck her mind... and she turned her eyes back to the female. "What powers do you possess?"[/b] Something told her that this female knew more than she should, though Tola couldn't really tell why. She remembered her fathers ability to read minds and how Haven seemed to act when he was reading our minds... this female displayed similar traits and something about the way she looked at everyone made Tola wonder even more. She waited patiently and flicked her tail once more.[/blockquote]

What? She said yes? Carabella was part of a pack now? It was too good to be true, she hoped Channing would join as well, and she hopes this fae would allow him too, even though his behavior was atrocious a moment before, she wanted to get to know him better.
Oh, her power...she had hoped they wouldn't ask her that, she didn't want to lie to her and tell her she had no power, but if she told them, then they would block there thoughts from her, though she could probably break through their barrier with lots of practice
((ooc- and moneys XD))
She guessed she had to tell them, against her better jugdement, she hoped it wouldn't be a bother, and that she would still be allowed to stay withing the pack. "Uh..Well I am a telepath." She said biting the inside of her cheek.

For the first time in a long time, Channing shut his mouth. His ice blue eyes watched the fae infront of him as well as the little brat of a pup that had just spoken to him. He sarcastically bowed toward the fae and pup before straightening up. Rather than screwing up his chances of losing Bella to this pack, he placed a pleasant feeling over the air. "So you're the young of Lucid. I should have known. Needless, I appologize for being rude earlier. I'm was just wondering around. No harm intended." He cocked his brow toward the fae, but his words were genuine.
Channing refrained from dropping his jaw when Bella asked to join the pack. He raised his brow at her in a questioning way. Why would she want to join this pack? But... Gah... that means he would have to join the pack.... He quickly sat down and glanced at the ground. Bella is just a fae. Like any other fae that he had flirted with. No, she's not, and you know it. Channing stood back up and glanced at Bella before turning toward the fae and the pup. he licked his teeth before speaking. "I, too, would like to join the.. er.. pack. And yes, I'm hesitant because I haven't been in a pack for quite sometime. But I can't leave Bella here to fend for herself."
His ice blue eyes looked back at Bella and he smiled kindly. With a soft nod, Channing turned back toward the fae and the pup. His features were soft as he watched them. Either she let him in, or she didn't. Either way, it wasn't going to stop him from seeing Bella.

Tola watched the female as she listened to her speak. She flicked her tail and took her turn to listen to the female before her as she spoke of her abilities. So, she was a telepath, much like her brother. She turned her nose up slightly at this fact. She had already accepted the wolf into the pack, so it really didn't matter, though she was sure that her father would be glad to have another telepath in the packlands. She attempted to keep her thoughts to a bare minimum around the female, all things considered.
"Be careful whos mind you read around here... it could and probably will get you into trouble. As for you, Channing, was it? I'm not sure if I want you in the pack, only because of your previous disrespect. That, and the fact that you think that this pack cannot defend or fend for its own. However, you're lucky I'm feeling particularly generous today and will allow you to join the pack, under the same conditions as I've allowed Carabella." [/b] Tola thought her father would like the prospect of more recruits into the pack, considering she had a small feeling that this was what her father was going after in the first place, though she couldn't be entirely sure. She flicked her tail once more and turned to Elva for a moment before turning her glowing gold gaze to the two wolves before her that would be the newest subordinates to the packlands. Well, for just starting leadership, she thought she was off to a fairly nice start.[/blockquote]

She sat, no longer needed in their conversation, but simply watching. Tola could certainly hold her own,yet Elva did not want to leave just yet. She supressed a shiver as the fae; Carabella was it? mentioned her power. For a moment she had felt something like a spirit passing over her. Was that her powers, breezing through her mind?
She hated the concept. Her own mind, one locked to even her, with twisted mazes of pain and horror, should never be invaded. Her feelings, her own power, were locked within the deepest recesses of her mind. Had Carabella just had a glimpse of what she felt every day? If she had and was disturbed by it, she didn't let on.
Her tail flicked about, hiding her body, and part of her face from view as she pondered. She would have to learn protection techniques. She did not want this fae learning too much of what she can't handle. It was as much for Carabella's protection, if she knew what Elva had felt from others...she would not want to delve.
She turned to the fae now, her tail flopping down beside her, like a forgotten toy so easily broken.
"You may also learn things about others you wouldn't want to even hear about. Knowledge once learned, cannot be unlearned." She warned the fae, her striking violet eyes staring up at the fae's alternating blue eyes.
Now she studied the male; Channing he introduced himself as. She snorted slightly, quietly, in disgust. He appeared a confident, selfish brute. And brute was the right word in this case. However, Carabella seemed to take confidence in being near him, so perhaps he was not so bad.

Channing cocked his brow in an irritated manner. Never, had he ever, had to clean up after himself.. let alone others. This was going to be hell. He licked his maw and glanced over his shoulder toward Bella. "I'm sure I can deal with that... Thank you for being so generous. By the way, what is it that I should call you? You never did mention your name." He took a step or two closer to Bella, his large angelic wings almost brushing her side. The ice blue orbs that he possessed held contact with the large fae's face as he watched her.
Channing glanced over at the pup again. She was too smart for her age... Something was definitely up with her.... but he would have to let it go for the time being. Feeling the small tension in the air, he placed a soft cloak of calm over the area. He was rather glad he was an empath... Pissy situations could easily be turned. He cocked his head to the side and allowed his long tail to brush Bella's paw closest to it. He was there, and nothing was going to harm her... Why he felt like that was beyond him, but he felt the need to show it.

Bella nodded her head in agreement, she too wanted to know there names. Neither fae had told them when they first met, which to her was unusual. But Channing also had not told them his name. But he told her it.
"I too would like to know what I should call you." She said to the two faes, she could have gathered it from their minds, but she had been warned not to do so. They hadn't directly tol dher not to read their minds but they had meant waht they said, to be about them.
Carabella couldn't explain the jolt of happiness, that shot through her body when Channing touched her with his tail. Ten minutes ago, she had concluded that he was a egotistical jerk, who cared about nothing but himself. But now, now she was hapy he was touching her? What was going on in her mind. She touched his back with her tail, and brushed it down his leg to his back paw, closest to her. Smiling the whole time.
She looked down at the ground in embarrasment, before noticing a tiny, barely grown flower. Just hanging on, like her. She grinned hugely at it, before blowing out a warm breath onto it. She shook her head, and though to herself that she needed to stop caring about some little flower and needed to pay attention to waht was going on in front of her.
Bella's eyes dulled slightly at her thoughts, and she looked back toward the two faes.

Tola listened to the wolves speak and she was slightly suspicious about the brute, but she didn't show it. Instead, she flicked her tail and turned her golden gaze to the brute. She smiled slightly, attempting to be civil to him, even though he had originally been an arrogant ass to her. She flicked her tail once more and spoke.
"I'm Tola, Daughter of Lucid and Mira, and one of the ones in charge while my parents take care of a few things. This wolf beside me is Elva." [/b] She held her head proudly and dominantly over the two wolves before her. She noticed the slight flirtation between the two and gave a slightly disgusted look to Elva, hidden mostly by the fur around her face to the other wolves. She flicked her tail and adjusted her wings. Her size was large and her off-white fur held tints of flamed highlights throughout it, as did her wings and the longer fur around her face. She turned her gaze back to the other two and looked directly at the brute. She decided it best to bring his previous point up to him as well. "So, now you know our names. What's yours?"[/b] She gave him a look that held both leadership and command. She Flicked her tail and adjusted her wings in the silence that followed momentarily. She puffed her chest out slightly and held her head in a very dominant position as she waited for a response.[/blockquote]

Channing let out a soft chuckle. So Tola was disgusted by their flirting? He could feel the emotion roll off her quickly before disapearing. He cocked his head to the side and smirked softly, brushing his tail once more against Bella. It was like killing two birds with one stone. Not only did he enjoy flirting with Bella and being at her side, but he did rather enjoy feeling the emotions that were rolling off Tola. It was rather entertaining, to say the least. He licked his maw slowly before speaking to Tola. "Ah, Tola, is it? You can call me Channing. And you..." He paused to look down at the pup, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Elva."
With a small smile offered, he looked over toward Bella. Channing readjusted his wings by his side slowly and stood tall. "So, now that we know each other's names and all that jazz, are we going to the den area, or are we going to continue on with this lovely chatter?" He tilted his head and smirked once again. He wasn't being rude... or rather, trying to be at least. Channing was just rather blunt about how he felt at the time being. His ice blue eyes watched Tola and Elva for their next moves before casually looking back at Carabella. He leaned in closer to her ear and whispered very quietly, "I can't wait to get to know you better..." He made sure she knew how he felt by brushing his tail against her one more time and leaving a trail of lust and need behind.
