Lucid chuckled at Mira and was utterly caught off guard when she transformed into him. He cocked his head to one side and then the other. It was weird to see a replica of him standing right in front of him. Oh, how many tricks they could play on people! Imagine! He chuckled to himself and flicked his tails. Well, why not... he'd always secretly wondered what it was like to be female... but then again, who didn't wonder what it was like to be the opposite gender?
One quick moment of thinking and Lucid blinked. Upon opening his eyes, he had to look upward. "Wow, you must get cricks in your neck often." [/b] He laughed, though the laugh and the words sounded weird coming from his mouth. It almost seemed unnatural to him to have his tones coming from Miras mouth and in her voice. He shook his head in amusement and looked up to Mira again. "You realize the havoc we could wreak with these? But we mustn't get sidetracked... we have a mission to do."[/b] He smirked as he flicked his tail. "It's such a small world from down here! But I feel so much lighter! Its almost a relief to not have those large wings on my back at the moment."[/b] To any wolves or creatures that were watching the two seemed really out of place and awkward, but right now, Lucid didn't care. He was having fun for the first time since his puphood. "Heh, I haven't been this low to the ground standing since I was a pup."[/b] He laughed to himself and flicked his tail again. It was weird to have only one tail instead of three. One other thought came up to him and he thought it would be fun to poke fun. "Does this collar make me look fat?"[/b] It was all in good fun and he meant no harm toward Mira when saying this. Flicking his tail once more, he waited for her to respond.[/blockquote]

"Am I really that short?" Mira lowered Lucid's large head toward her body and laughed. "I know we have a mission, but why not have fun for a few moments? I feel so huge... dominating... and slightly intimidating." She smiled down at Lucid. "Is that how it is for you? And these tails!" She flicked all three and grinned. The wings on her back stretched out wide again. The thought of flight was on the surface of her mind... but she had never flown before... She'd hurt herself for sure.
Mira looked at Lucid and couldn't help but laugh. He just seemed so small. And that voice. She chuckled harder and shook her head. "I never thought I would ever see the day that I actually looked down at you." She burst out laughing when he made the fat comment. She sat down and covered her face with one of her massive paws and laughed harder. "You have no idea," She mock coughed and lowered her voice, "I mean, of course not, Love. It looks gorgeous." She rolled onto her back and laughed. Oh what fun they could have. They could do so much more than cause havoc once they had these collars down.

Lucid flicked his tail and grinned his wolf-ish grin. He figured it would look absolutely ridiculous, but he didn't care at the moment. Part of him wondered what had happened to him. He seemed to be acting nothing like himself... what was wrong with him? The thoughts probably showed on his face, so he quickly recovered and pondered for a moment. If he was Mira's form.... did that mean he had her powers? He decided to give it a shot.
Concentrating on the water around them, he tried to make it form a mist around them... and he got... nothing. He tried a few more times before he gave up. "Well, we still have our own powers... but that's okay. And if you didn't mind, I read your mind. Try out the wings.. You forget, I know how to heal." [/b] He knew that she was itching to try them out.. she had mentioned and thought earlier about how much she would like to be able to fly. Why not... they didn't have to take care of their plot right away.He chuckled as she rolled around before him. Surely he didn't look that clumsy, did he? "Yeah, it makes me feel great being that indimidating. Ever wonder why I hold myself the way I do? As for you, your paws are so small... everything so small!"[/b] Neither one of them seemed to have tried to walk.. and he thought it would be like walking in his form... but oh was he sadly mistaken. First step... he fell. Her paws were just too damn tiny! Deciding to try again, he padded forward. He felt like a pup learning to walk for the first time. "This is a lot harder than it looks!"[/b] He felt so off-balance, not having to worry about the weight of his wings or the extra weight that came from being as large as he was. He felt so light, yet he was having the damnedest time trying to walk. What was wrong with this picture?![/blockquote]

Mira rolled over onto her belly and smiled at Lucid. "You can read my mind any time you want. We're on the same picture now." She stood up and flexed her wings out again. Now.. how to get into the air... She jumped and pushed her wings down only to forget to push them back up. Her huge legs scrambled in the air as she face planted it into the dirt. "How do you do it?" She asked, sitting up and wincing. She shook it off and tried again. She got a few feet before falling again. This was going to take awhile. She glanced over at Lucid and took a step toward him. There was a large thud as the paw hit the ground. "It's all so big. I didn't realize your paws were so heavy... And I rather enjoy my dainty paws now that I think about it. It's so much easier to run when your tiny." She took another step, and another loud thud came from it. She looked rather funny, she was sure, and rather awkward.
Mira got the hang of walking rather quickly seeing as Lucid's paws were so much larger than her's. She sat in front of him and cocked her head to the side. "It's almost like walking on air, isn't it?" She grinned softly, the cute little grin she usually gave him. "I just want to know how you handle being so large. You walk so gracefully when I'm next to you and yet here I am, walking like I haven't walked in years." Mira cocked her brow and laid down, getting on Lucid's level. It all just seemed so unnatural.

Lucid watched Mira and chuckled to himself. Well, at least he wasn't the only one that had trouble walking. When she tried to fly, he burst out laughing and couldn't stop for several minutes. He rolled and his body... eerrr... Mira's body... convulsed with uncontrollable laughter at her faceplant and her second attempt to fly. It all seemed just as she thought... unnatural.
Upon regaining his composure, he took a few breaths to regain his breath. He had laughed so hard that he had begun to hyperventilate and he needed to be fully capable of breathing if he were to show Mira how to fly. With a quick thought, he transformed back into himself. Now, any wolves that would be nearby that had any idea of LUcid's reputation, would either think they've gone off the deep end or wonder what plot he had cooked up in order to duplicate himself... followed by panic. But that was only wolves that knew who he truly was and his true intentions.. and as far as he knew... only two wolves knew about that.. Masina and Mira.
He turned to look at Mira, at her height again. That's so weird to think about.. being back up to Mira's height. He thought for a moment before stretching his wings. Though it was funny trying to walk as Mira, he realized how much he enjoyed being himself.
"Sometimes it helps to get a running start. When you start flapping your wings, you need to keep a rhythm. Up, down, up, down... and so forth. When bringing your wings up, make sure you pull them inwardly to your body. Use your tails to help you navigate. Watch me." [/b] He flicked his tails and took a small running start, spreading his wings and allowing an updraft to catch them and lift him into the air. "You'll be using updrafts of wind to pull you higher. Hold the wings open in order to catch this as you run. When you feel a pull upward, push the wings downward to create greater force for them to catch. Then you just need to keep your rhythm and remember to stay with updrafts."[/b] He smirked. He knew that Crow could fly, but he didn't think that Tola had quite learned that ability yet. It was odd to be teaching the children's mother to fly. "It's easy once you learn the ways of the updrafts and how flight works."[/b] He did a few summersaults through the air and then hovered in front of Mira a few feet off the ground. "If anything goes awry, I'll help you to stop your landing. Don't worry, I'll help out where I can."[/b] He was being so nice.. he couldn't figure out why. Was it because he hadn't really had time as a puppy to play and to have these shiny new toys made him feel as if he were a year old again? Or even younger yet? His puppyhood was nothing but a faint memory in his mind. Surely he had fun... played... when he was a pup? He had no memories of it and this was intriguing to him. Well, at least he was playing now... even the most heartless wolves had some sort of hope in them to relive old days... that, and they could have some inner emotion to themselves. Some way of actually having the capacity to love... though at this point.. he wasn't sure if he could love... it might have actually been just lust.. but that didn't matter. He had an ally in his endeavors and that's what mattered. His plans were finally being put into action.[/blockquote]

Mira couldn't help but smile as Lucid changed back into himself and began talking. He was actually going to teach her how to fly. Something she had wanted to do since she was a pup. He was being so nice about it as well. It was so odd to have such a relationship with him. It was usually the casual nod of the head and a quick comment about the pack or children. They had actually carried on a full conversation and were now plotting to take over Aelyn. She would have never dreamed this possible. It just didn't seem natural for them to be doing this. Then again, her and Lucid never really did have a normal relationship to begin with now did they?
Mira watched as Lucid took a running start and flew into the air. Up, down, up, down... Alright, it couldn't be that hard now that she had tried twice already. "Thank you, Lucid." She said before taking a running start and flapping her wings down as she felt an updraft. She pulled them up and then down again as she felt the updraft again. Easy! Her wings, or rather Lucid's wings, were flapping up and down very naturally now. She lifted one and lowered the other, turning back around to face Lucid. "I can't believe I'm flying!" Her voice was filled with joy.
Now for the landing.... Or rather just stopping in general. Mira's eyes grew wide as she crashed right into Lucid. She yelped and prayed that she hadn't hurt him as she rolled head over feet a few times on the ground. Mira wasn't exactly her normal size and she wasn't sure if Lucid had ever been hit by someone his size. She landed on her back and sighed. With a quick heave, she lifted her large head and glanced around looking for Lucid. "Landing is harder than I thought...." She let out a sigh and laid her head back down on the ground and closed her eyes. Her mind thought of her real body and she turned back into the cute little Mira that was really her. She laid on her back and let out another sigh. She would just have to practice when she had a bit of free time. Right now they had other things to do.

Lucid watched as Mira took her first real flight. His mouth grew into a grin that quickly turned to shock as she flew right toward him. "Oh shit!" [/b] He exclaimed just before she crashed into him. He hadn't really ever had a wolf similar to his size take him on and this got him to thinking about other wolves in the lands. He knew that other wolves, such as Kerrigan and a couple others, were large, about his size, give or take.. what if he had to meet up with these wolves at some point in some sort of paw to claw fight? He brushed the thoughts form his mind as he slowly stood and shook the collision from his body. He watched as Mira turned to her actual form and flicked his tails. This seemed more natural to him. They had things to take care of and time was of the essence. "So, shall we continue toward the den area then? I don't know how many more wolves have traversed these lands or how many have actually joined packs... last I knew, we were the largest, but who knows, that could have changed by now."[/b] He flicked his tails and continued to pad forward slightly, though not nearly fast enough to lose Mira. She should be able to keep his pace well, especially since he slowed it when he was around her and shortened his steps. He took much larger steps than she did and this caused him to seemingly move faster than she did, though he would be walking the same pace.[/blockquote]

Mira rolled over and stood up. She arched her back and groaned. "I didn't hurt you too bad, did I?" She padded toward him, her tiny paws noiseless as she caught up with him. It was rather nice to be back to her short self. Being closer to the ground was always something she had rather appreciated. It made it less painfull to fall. Speaking of falling, she wasn't a fan of flying and falling. This pain in her back wasn't fun. She stretched it again and did a little sprint to catch up with Lucid once more.
She always seemed to be taking three steps to one of his, but she didn't mind. She was rather used to walking fast, hell she loved to run, so it didn't bother her much. Mira glanced up at Lucid and nodded her head, "The den it is. The faster we get down there the better. We need to leave as soon as possible." Mira shook her fur and smiled. The feeling of this new collar around her neck was beginning to feel comfortable and just plain natural. Almost like it was meant to be there. She just couldn't help but grin. It may have been a malicious grin, but a grin nonetheless.

Lucid nodded and watched as Mira caught up to him. He flicked his tails and padded down the mountainside toward the den area. Slowly, the dens came into view and he flicked his tails again, pausing.
"We should act like we always have... no different. It'll raise less suspicion." [/b] He flicked his tails once more and padded forward. He slowly approached the entrance to the den and peered in. Everyone seemed to be either asleep or out and about. Sighing to himself, he called out for Tola and Crow. "Tola. Crow. Come here now."[/b] His voice was stern and commanding.. back to its former glory. Flicking his tails, he sat down at the edge of the dens cliffside, with his back to the den area, waiting for the two yearlings to come greet him and find out what he had called them for. He knew that they should come running if Lucid had called them, only because he was the one they were competing for. He waited, which wasn't one of his strong suits. Brownie points would be given for the shorter waiting period, though he was sure they'd come out fairly equally to each other. He adjusted his wings as the wind blew up from way down the mountain. He caught the faint scent of the borders of the mountains and the waterfalls... there were more wolves there, he could smell them. Their pack had grown larger. This was what Lucid had thought and almost feared, though the large brute never truly feared anything. --------------------------------------------------- She had heard her father call her. Wondering what he wanted, she padded slowly out of the den area to find him sitting over by the ledge that looked out over all of Aelyn. She bounded over to him in excitement and worry, wondering what had happened or what she had done to make him want to speak to her. Slowing her pace, she came to Lucids side and looked at him. She had to look up at him, but not nearly as much as her mother, which she was grateful for. "Yes, father? You called?" She sat and flicked her tail, folding her finally mature wings to her sides as she waited for whatever Lucid might have for her. She wasn't sure if it was good or bad... you could never tell with Lucid, but she did know that it must have to be something important... Lucid never spoke to any of his children unless it was something important. A wolf of few words...[/blockquote]

Mira fallowed close to Lucid as they made their way down the mountain and toward the dens. She quickly wiped the smirk off her face as soon as he mentioned acting normal. It wouldn't be too difficult for her seeing as it was rather easy to be nice to those around her. If she was treated with respect, they recieved respect, simple really. As they padded toward the den, Mira licked her maw and cocked her head to the side in a casual manner. It was rather quiet... Which was nice. She sat down at Lucid's side and let out a small sigh as she waited for Lucid's next move.
Thankfully, he was the one whom called to Tola and Crow. They showed when she called them.. but not nearly as fast as when Lucid would call them. They never vied for her attention, which she was fine with. Lucid was much more powerful and, all in all, had the ultimate say in what happened. Mira let out a small chuckle as Tola headed toward them and talked to Lucid. She pawed at the ground with one of her paws and coughed softly, "It's a pleasure to see you too, Tola." She offered her a small smile and nodded her head in acknowledgement.

Lucid watched as Mira followed and composed herself to her usual stature. Lucid had already done so before he padded to the den area to call Tola and Crow. He flicked his tails as his daughter approached him. Well, that was fast. Lucid made a mental note to himself to remember how quickly his children came to his call and turned his glowing orbs to Tola.
"Your mother and I are going to leave for a while. In doing such, the packlands will have to be watched by someone." [/b] After saying this, he saw the lights in her eyes and quickly shot them down. "You and your brother Crow will be in charge of the lands while we're gone. I'll know how things are going because I'll check up on you guys when you least expect it. Therefore, you and your brother will have to work together to make things work. In the end, the wolf that does the better job and shows the best leadership skills and best team effort, will be offered the Beta position within this pack."[/b] He flicked his tails calmly as he said all of this. He wished that Crow were around, but he didn't have a whole lot of time to set everything in motion, so he needed to say all of this fast and get everything out so he and Mira could begin their mission. "You will tell your brother of all of this if I do not see him before my departure."[/b] Lucid waited for a moment before he adjusted his wings and turned to Mira to see if there was anything she wanted to add. ----------------------------------------------------- Tola listened to her father intently. "Hello mom."[/b] She said quickly as Lucid spoke again. So they were leaving? What were they leaving for? Were they going to go have more pups? Tola didn't want to think about that and thought it better not to ask questions. Flicking her tail, a habit she had picked up from Lucid, she listened even more intently after he had said that the winner of this would get the beta position. Her heart skipped a beat. A real test! All of this was just one big competition and game to her... between her and Crow... and she would show him who was the better wolf. Her heart sank slowly when Lucid seemed to have read her mind about telling Crow. Damn! She was just going to keep it to herself and lie to him, but now she couldn't, because then Dad would know. She made a slight face and turned to Mira to see if there was anything she wanted to add to Lucids statements.[/blockquote]

Mira sat calmly as Lucid spoke to Tola. She ran her paw through the dirt absentmindedly as the two talked. If all hell broke loose while her and Lucid were gone, she was going to be pissed. Crow and Tola needed to learn to work together. Even if neither of them ever made it to the actual alpha position. Mira smiled to herself at the thought. Alphess of all Aelyn... Immortal. It was a dream come true and a dream that was within her grasp.
The silence between Lucid and Tola brought her out of her thoughts. Mira quickly cocked her head to the other side and batted her eyes softly. "I think you have it pretty covered, Lucid." She stood up and looked up toward Tola. "You and Crow will work together. Arguing will get you nowhere when it comes to leading a pack." She glanced at Lucid. "Trust me... Just behave, Tola." Mira's voice was stern, which wasn't something that was usually heard. She cocked her brow at Tola as if daring her to not listen to her. Mira may be small, but she was still mom.

((Lucid will just chill for the moment.)) Tola listened to her mother. She wasn't used to her sounding so stern, which made her ears perk and made her think about her previous thoughts all the more seriously. Deciding it would be best to tell Crow, she nodded to her mother and flicked her tail. So, mother and father were leaving and her and Crow were in charge of the packlands... that couldn't be too difficult, could it? I mean, how hard is it to be in charge of a pack?
She nodded to both of her parents and adjusted her wings.
"Will there be anything else?" [/b] She wanted to go find Crow to tell him the message and of the potentially good yet bad news. She wasn't going to leave her parents though, until she was dismissed. She flicked her tail and ear, relieving it of a fly that had just so happened to want to perch on it, and waited for a response from either of her parents.[/blockquote] ((Sorry... kind of crappy...))

Mira's soft eyes watched her one and only daughter carefully. If all goes according to plan, everything will be perfect. She nodded her head and Tola and smiled sweetly, "Good. Now when you see your brother, please pass on the message. Other than that.... Lucid? Are we set to go?" She glanced up at him with her head cocked to the side. She was revving to go and get everything started. But Lucid had first say in everything. Which she was alright with, seeing as he often asked for her opinion. She smiled softly and waited patiently.

Lucid flicked his tails and dismissed Tola. "You're free to go. We will know if you do not tell your brother, mind you." [/b] He turned his head to face Mira once more. "I think we're all set to go. Tola will tell her brother, her thoughts tell me so. Now, all we need to do is go recruit. Shall we then? We need to figure out what our basic strategy is going to be.. not to mention getting Sinis to work with us."[/b] He flicked his tails, his eyes glowing brightly as he thought. He wanted to make sure things went as smoothly as possible and without a hitch, but he wasn't sure exactly where things would go when they were eventually put into motion. He knew where he wanted them to go, but getting to that point was the hard part. "You take care of Sinis... she'll respond a little better to you. After that, we'll figure things out, perhaps? Or shall we decide things now?"[/b] He knew they needed a basic battle plan... But should they wait? Time was beginning to tick by ever so quickly. "We should decide things quickly... time is of the essence."[/b] He flicked his tails once more and waited for her response.[/blockquote] ((Tola left when dismissed.))
