It wasn't anything new to see Haven by himself laying by a small spring. He was often by himself just hanging out, seeing as his brother and sister were usually off arguing over Dad's affection. Haven was the only one in the family who knew he wasn't alpha material. He was far to fun loving for the job. Wolves would laugh at him if he even tried. No, he was a fallower and he very well knew it.
Haven ran one of his large blue flamed paws threw the spring water slowly. With a quick flick of his wrist, he bounced a few water droplets across the grass. He had always been a fan of water, finally learning how to control it just a season or two ago. He didn't mind though, he was full grown now and in complete control of all of his powers. His wings were no longer of down feather, but of a sterdy dove feather, a mirror of light blue shine. He did, however, still have his floppy puppy ear. But what could one do about that? He was much taller now, no longer the smallest of the siblings. He had out grown his mom, which he never thought would happen, and he was so close to catching up to Lucid. Haven was sure he wasn't going to grow anymore, so he was comfortable with being slightly shorter than his father.
Alone. Yeah, Haven was still alone. He really did need to make some friends. Maybe he should go travel the other pack lands. Wouldn't that be a fun job. Lucid would have a heart attack... or ban him from this pack, either was definitely a bad thing. Haven just needed to find meaning. He wasn't ever going to be alpha, and he probably wasn't even good enough for beta... Maybe gamma? He wouldn't mind watching out for the pups that arrived.
Haven glanced up toward the sky with his crimson red eyes. He grinned softly as he flicked water up toward the sky and floated above his head. If there was a few things that Haven could do and Tola and Crow couldn't, it was move things with their minds and toy with water. At least he had something on his siblings.
After an hour or so of contemplating, Haven finally made up his mind. And with a loud shout, he was going to let his decision be heard by Lucid, Mira, and his brother and sister.
