[OOC - Okay, seeing as Esperanza has been inactive and it's happened before (due to mass computer failure etc.) I don't wanna loose this thread, especially with all the progress made with Anubis finding the fae he's in love with. '^^ So Tio will you carry on RPing in it with me until she returns and then we can carry on as normal? That makes it your turn, don't need to stress too much about taking ages but will look forward to RPing with ya. See you ^-^

~ E . L . V . A ~
She watched silently as Anubis spoke to the other fae, his musical voice all smiles and good gentleman-like poise. He was such the charmer, it was hard to think anything bad of this brute, and oddly enough Elva found herself smiling at the thought. Anyone would be hard pressed making an enemy of him, his spirits never seemed dampened, even in such cold weather.
Quietly yet stubbornly rejecting his offer of more warmth, the small mauve pup rested her muzzle against his back leg, inhaling his scent. She hoped every day would provide the warmth and guidance of a friend like Anubis; it seemed he brightened the day up from where she was standing.
One little thing did worry her, however. With the turning of the seasons and winter turning to spring and then eventually summer, the absence of their alpha Lucidity was beginning to show. He had been in the Plains and amongst the other lands for such a long time now, unfortunately she was having a hard time conjuring up his face in her mind, sharp as her mind was.
She had heard rumours from neighbouring lands, rumours that didn't sound too friendly regarding her alpha. However she was not to believe them, after all, was it not Lucidity himself that showed her the kindness in allowing her a bed with a warm place to stay, and the comfort and protection of a pack? He could have turned her away, as the rumours claimed he was so cruel, yet he did not. That alone was enough to raise him in Elva's standards. Anyone who would see fit to give shelter to one as frail and useless as she deserved their place at the top of the ranks.
A gust of wind blew snow across her nose and she exhaled forcefully to get rid of the snowflakes. Looking back up at Anubis, and back from Anubis to Esperanza, she gave a wry smile. Perhaps it was nothing, but she thought she might have seen a little twinkle in his eye as he looked at the older fae. A faint feeling of jealousy rose within her even as she thought that, and she shook a little, bidding the thoughts down. It was probably just her imagination. Nudging the brute with her muzzle, she chuckled lightly to herself.
“Thanks again for the offer Anubis, I admit that it is rather cold. Perhaps you two would like to accompany me to a place that offers more shelter than that here? Unless of course, and I don't mind at all if you do, you would prefer to take flight once more?” She had to admit, the fae looked to be purely majestic in the air, what she wouldn't give to watch a wolf take off from the ground, watching those steady wingbeats as they propelled her higher and higher into the air. What a sight that would be...

He noticed the little Elva was still smiling and he gazed down at her and smiled too with slight puzzlement as he wondered what thoughts would be crossing a mind such as hers. He felt sure that they would be amazing and this made him smile all the more. His ears perked up slightly as she felt her breathe inwards as her wet little nose touched against his leg. It was wet and cold and it made him blink in surprise before looking down under his stomach to smile at her and chuckle softly as she was taking in those big gulps of air.
He watched her expressions change with the thoughts that controlled them and his smile and his heart grew merrier. A small gust then took up and blew at him. With it came Elva’s own little scent. How lovely and sweet it seemed to him, so lovely and perfect for such a wonderful little lady. The wind would probably carry with it his own scent to the perfect nose of Esperanza and he wondered how she would take it.. How curious that such a notion should come to his mind, it hadn’t occurred before when another fae was involved. That same gust had placed more snow around his large paws but his heat was doing just fine at keeping the level around him and Elva from getting to high, the snow had however managed to dust the little lady’s nose and she gave a big puff to blow the snow away, an action that made the male chuckle and lower his head to nuzzle the dear thing.
Her gaze had been with the fae and was just returning to him as he was about to give her the warm nuzzling of her life when he felt her nose and breath against his limb once more. Laughing he lifted the victimised limb from the ground and smiled down at the lady.
“Will you insist on tickling my leg with that little tongue of yours? I shall not mind but do you want me to repay the favour?”[/b]
He grinned and ever so slightly slid his own tongue from between his teeth before chuckling and putting it back as she spoke. She was so polite! Such etiquette, Anubis beamed and had to try not to lick her like he would have done so many times if she were his own. Instead he smiled with all his kindness and his love to the little fae before speaking to her and finally turning once more to the stunning lady that stood before him.
“Dearest Elva, I would love very much to have your truly wonderful self as a personal escort whom I would not share for my, oh so inappropriate selfishness, hehe. I do suppose however I shall have to share you just a little to our dear Esperanza. If you wish to fly first do so by all means. We can wait surely, after all a blanket of a wolf like myself can keep as all warm I’m positive of that.” [/b]

~ E . L . V . A ~ His puzzled look amused her. Lowering her gaze, Elva continued her sly smile, focusing on the brightly coloured grass at her paws. A worm inched its steady way across a stray twig and she watched its path with her stark violet eyes. Her mind was left free to wander as her tail flicked slowly from side to side.
So Anubis was ticklish then...that was a note to file away in her subconscious – it could be useful later. Her smile turned playful, her eyes brightening up with a vigour that the season of summer would not often bring for wolves like her. Though the winter was full of perils; a wolf unsuited for cold weather could freeze to death in a matter of minutes, the summer was the biggest cause of irritation.
Wasp stings, hornets, mosquitoes, fever, heat rash, so many minor injuries that caused prolonged effects. Elva would be feeling it all from the other wolves in the area along with her own annoyances and she would also feel nauseous all summer for not healing the irritations. She wondered briefly how other wolves with her 'power' managed to cope in the summer, but that was immediately followed by a wish and a prayer that no other wolf was unlucky enough to have the same power.
She laughed, a little false laugh to assure Anubis that she had been paying attention to him. “Curses! My heinousplan to tickle Anubis into submission has been ccompromised I must destroy the traitors!” She placed a paw delicately upon her brow – the epitome of a 'oh woe is me!' pose – and then leapt to her feet, baring her teeth and gnashing her jaws at the imaginary traitors.
“It was the sparrows wasn't it?!” She indicated a small next atop a branch with her paw, the birds immediately flying off and scattering with her swift motion “They let you in on it didn't they?? I'll destroy them all! ROAAWR!!” She finished her spectacular pantomime with a great, grizzly roar, tipping her head back and standing up on her back legs to maximize its dramatic effect.
She certainly was in an odd mood today. Might have been the heat. Or the weather. Whatever it was, she knew certainly what it was not. Elva silently, yet firmly told herself that it was certainly not because of Anubis' affectionate nuzzling. Words: 398 OOC: I'm on a bit of a roll Oo, hope it doesn't end anytime soon xD.

He watched the pup before him as she bounced around next to his giant paws and he couldn’t help but remember their first meeting. By the hot springs where they both bathed and the memory made him smile. It was so warm and the waters had felt so good on his skin and he had met both Elva and Echosong on that day. He was beaming as he recalled how fond he had been of them both and how even more find he was of this pup and he knew it wasn’t at its limit if that could be possible.
How was it that a wolf who had nothing but the capacity to do nothing but love should have also such a hateful side to himself so deep down that if escaped would do terrible things. He missed home but he loved this place too and here there were those he loved now and he could never leave them, There was Elva and Echosong, he’d also met Tola and Crow, he loved them all so devotedly, Nerakuma as well and since his first meeting with Elva he’d met Kavu and Fae. Now he’d met Esperanza and just the thought of her name made him shiver. He could still remember her scent from just before and if he moved a little he could smell it again as it had cling to him from when they had been so close. He started to think of her and could feel himself missing her, this was something he’d never felt before but for now he’d not respond, he was in the presence of another young lady and he adored her too.
He leant down to Elva then and nuzzled her just as she let out a laugh. Her words then began to take on a tone that was highly accusing towards the birds and Anubis found himself grinning, remembering when he would make such excellent deductions. He laughed a little at her pose before lowering his head to speak to her.[/b]
“Miss Elva, is it true that you wish to tickle me until I can cope no longer? I fear for myself Miss Elva, I do believe you could easily succeed such an endeavour and I would be helpless to resist.”
He winked and smiled before giving a look of mock terror before grinning back at her, he didn’t grin a lot but this little lady could make him do so and he adored her for it.
She then let out a terrific roar before falling back to stand and rise up onto her hind legs and he then lowered his stomach and rested his head on his forepaws while his rump and tail swished in the air, he laughed and smiled up at her, his eyes now only just under her own. Only Anubis could pull such a pose and look dignified and of course he had managed it perfectly. Just as well or he’d be kicking himself for it by now.

~ E . L . V . A ~ She let him nuzzle her, leaning into his warm breath. Oddly enough, she was normally not one for physical contact this Elva, but then again every wolf had their weaknesses. She just couldn't be a misery, couldn't be a downer with Anubis nearby. When he laughed at her and asked her if she really intended to tickle him to death, she couldn't help but sigh amicably.
“No of course not my Anubis. Otherwise, who would keep me warm during cold, damp nights and at winter? No, no, I fear I would catch a death if I tickled you to your demise. However...” She narrowed her eyes in a mock imitation of someone evil and dastardly, giving Anubis a sidelong glance. If she had fingers, she would have twiddled them greedily before interlacing them as some villains did. “The idea is tempting...though I must say I enjoy your company too much” She rolled over at this point, bumping into his nose and sprawling out all over the floor.
His mock terror was enough to make her snigger, a small laugh bursting forth from her maw, though she did her best to quell it, as if something very serious was going on quite near to her. She laid back, leaning into his muzzle, her tail wrapped coyly around one of her hind legs, eyes gazing upwards and backwards so that she looked into Anubis' orbs. Her tail flicked absently, her front paws floppy and drawn up to her chest. She looked to all the world a carefree pup.
Just in the corner of her line of vision, Elva saw Esperanza, and her lovely wings. Blinking, she shuffled back further up onto Anubis' muzzle so that she could gaze more at the fae; who, from her odd viewpoint, seemed to be standing on the ceiling. The female really was a beauty, and again Elva felt that little stab of jealousy that she had this small, dumpy body, when her mind was so alert and complex. But most of all, the awe-inspiring aspect of the fae was her wings. Elva had wondered about a lot of things, but wings were not one of them.
Sure she had seen them on birds, bees, dragonflies, butterflies, but she had never wondered what it would be like to have them herself. Now, watching them flex and relax, folding tight into the small of the fae's back and then unfurling to expand either side of her, a magnificent pair of aerodynamic attributes, she did wonder what it would be like. Perhaps it was exhilarating, the raw energy of flight, perhaps it was slightly frightening, the worrying thought of plunging to your death if you lost energy. Perhaps it was even peaceful, up there, the wind blowing through your fur, the sun beating upon your back, that feeling that you were the only soul in the world up there. Perhaps, she would never know.

The male smiled down and the beloved little fae that stood at his giant paws. How much he loved her to bits and he smiled all the more as she did anything, moving, speaking, she had such a charm about her and behind him his tail wagged just a little. He nudged at her softly and smiled as she sighed. It was strange but this kid was bringing out the father in him as well as his limitless love for everyone he met.. Dear Elva, so small but so precious.
His crimson eyes bore over her as she paced and they narrowed as his maw rose into a smile as she gave him a very sinister grin. He lowered his ears and his body a little to show is willingness to obey, he would be submissive to this evil genius. His wet nose felt her collide and he smiled before lowering his form closer to her pretty face and showed the look of a loyal minion.[/b]
“My dear, sweet Master Elva I wouldn’t dream of forfeiting my service as your personal hot water bottle and blanket, even in death though I do fear you would find me a lot colder should the blood not run in my veins… this could be a problem should it arise and thus I promise not to let it ever occur, after all, I wouldn’t want my favourite Master to get mad at me.”
His ears fell down right to the back of his fine dome and his tail hung between his legs as he gave a slight smile and leant close to the pup.
“And I treasure your wonderful company malady. Or would you prefer milord? My evil genius Master.”
He grinned broadly though didn’t nuzzle her, that would not be the proper way to address ones Master after all hehe. She laughed, or tried not to and this made him smile all the more, she was too much. He leant his wet nose closer to her little belly so that she could cling to it with her beautiful paws. He smiled and chuckled kindly back and wondered whether to blow a raspberry onto her stomach. His eyes met hers and he felt his body flush with warmth, he may have even blushed but he knew how much he loved her and he’d make sure she was always safe. Following the pup’s gaze his eyes once more found Esperanza. His heart gave a powerful thud against his chest and he wanted to talk to her more, admiring her wings and how gracefully she used them. His mind linked with Elva’s then, though neither would ever know it both were thinking about what it must be like to fly, to touch the very clouds and feel their cool moisture cleanse your fur. Then he caught himself staring and looked away, once more focusing on the dear pup beneath him. He smiled and nuzzled her again before settling down around her, belly on the cold snow he smiled and waited for her as his tail began to wag a little more for the two dear fae’s he’d found.
