We all know there are some VERY talented people lurking among aelyn, most of which I would trade four fingers and a toe to have even half of their natural talent, that’s why I have a question for everyone who might be interested.
I’m seeking a little help with this here project of mine and ONLY here on aelyn, I know the people here are trustworthy so if you think you might have an idea or skill that could help me dramatically please PM me! If you want to help then you can and I won’t be rejecting anyone anytime soon. If your not sure what you could possibly do or how on earth you could help create a game then still PM me because there ARE easy jobs. Things that only require your current know-how. If you can draw then there are jobs for that, if you can write well I would be in heaven. Good with plots? Awesome. Just use that amazing brain I know you all have and ill be eager to hear your responses!

STORY OVERVEIWIn-Game the character can be either male or female but for now to limit confusion I will just refer to the player as HE.
Falling, set in the world of Estyre the main character begins to have unusual dreams although at first he couldn’t remember large portions the longer time continue the more he would recall after waking. However something he also began to discover was that the more he remembered the longer he had been asleep and the longer his body had continued to move, talk and live without him in the drivers seat.
Within a matter of weeks he was diving into these dream worlds for days on end constantly waking in strange places he had never before seen or heard of. He tried almost everything from depriving himself of sleep to tying himself down but without a doubt. When he woke, he was elsewhere.
This is where the game starts. In the depths of another one of these unusual dreams although now he is lucky enough to know it is a dream. The only problem is when he wakes how much further from home will he be and why does his dreams always revolve around his own death?
SPOILER
As you progress you will come to realise that the world’s resurrection is about to pass. A deadly virus that lay dormant for years is stirring, the gods are watching as the world falls to ruin.
You are not the hero, you are not here to save the world. You are here,
To die.
=========================================================================
Religion
In Estyre religion is very important. Many cities revolve around certain beliefs and at times knowing about another’s religion will prove very valuable. Not long after starting your game you will be introduced to several lesser belief systems allowing you to choose a god or wait until another religion becomes available. You can change religion at any time provided you are not a worshipper of Sithis.
Your religion effects you and your party dramatically, especially your statistics. Those who worship The Mother gain more mana as they level while those who worship that sand god Coses gain heat resistance.
The Mother:
As a religion those who worship the mother are primarily good, you can find sub-factions that offer her sacrifices but for the large portion The Mother is a symbol of all things holy and pure. She is the light of Estyre and the most common belief system. Her worshippers respect all other beliefs and will offer you sanctuary regardless of your religious faction.
The Mother: Good
As a good character The mother continues to be a holy light. The religion itself remains unchanged throughout the game. She guides you honestly and any questions for her are almost completely truthful. Provided you ask the right questions.
The Mother: Evil
As an evil character the mother although she carries the good persona is always evil long before the main characters birth. As you progress her history changes slightly from the good version and you will find that although you aren’t quite being manipulated your being told a half-truth.
Sithis
Always evil the religion worships the mothers so called sidekick. The story goes that human kind destroyed the mother in a blind race for power however those who worship sithis insist that human kind where mere pawns in a greater game. Sithis provoked the overthrow and stepped up to take her place however due to the way he saw order many abandoned him, all those who do not follow Sithis are traitors.

WORLD DEVOLPMENT
WORLD DEVOLPMENT
Estyre is a fully developed and highly interactive world. Hundreds of side quests effect who your character is and how the rest of the world treats you. Bake your own bread. Gather your own herbs. Your eyesight and keen mind is the key to survival. Including a total of nine different races being human isn’t always the easiest. Hell, even being a certain gender is bad! Try shopping for goods and end up being ripped off and put down for being a male! Some places you visit will be much larger than others, sometimes you will find a town or village while other times you can find a city or complete underground world like that of the Kamukii Inner Sanctum or the Myrdil Sewers. Everybody will talk to you, what he or she says is effected by your gender, level, alliance, guild, inventory etc. You can even steal from homes provided you aren’t caught.
Also, just because you have clicked it before doesn't mean you shouldn't keep clicking! Sometimes people have more to say while chests may have secret compartments. Pulling a switch can turn things both on and off and so on. Leave and item for a time, it may restock, re-spawn change in some way. It's just a little way to keep it interesting, that way you don't need to be disappointed when you need to go back the way you came!
=========================================================================
Interactivity
All right, I’m sure you are all wondering just what makes the game interaction so different from other projects, those that have claimed their interaction to be “Unique” “one of a kind”. Well I can’t tell you and the honest truth is I just don’t know. Have a played every game ever made? No, not by a long shot. So I’ll let you decide what is so “unique” and “different”. I am the maker, I can’t be the perfect critique too.
Firstly, Estyre is the in-game’s version of Earth. It’s big, It’s crowded but most of all it alive. My game isn’t made just for those who like to fight or those who like to strategise. Its made so that no-matter what kind of game play your into you can still get into the swing of things with your own style. Don’t like fighting? Find other ways. It’s all possible as long as you have the mind to make your own decisions.
=========================================================================
Navigate the Choices
Navigate the Choices
Everything that the main player can touch is interactive. Sometime you need to click while other times just touching it will trigger an event. I’ll explain it simply, when you click on say, a fence, it will open a menu with various options. The first of which is always EXAMINE.
PIC SOON
This is pretty self-explanatory, clicking this option will make your character state what he/she thinks about the object in question. Their alliance, gender, personality, level, game progress and more may contribute to what they think and at time’s looking at an object is the only way to see it has other options.
Now, looking at a door after nightfall gives you a slightly different layout. EXAMINE is still right there at the top but now there is another option labelled INVENTORY. Clicking this brings you a list of all the items you can use on said door. For example if the door is locked you will get a menu something like this.
PIC SOON
Lockpick, Master Key and Shop Key. All these items can be used to open the door provided you actually have them in your inventory. Different objects will have different interaction, clicking a plant will give the same menu but clicking inventory this time will give you a menu possibly with the options, scissors, net and jar. Scissors for the leaves, net for any bugs that may live there, jar for any different bugs you can’t catch with a net.
=========================================================================
Forever Changing
Both time and life moves on with the player. Days pass and things change from the weather to the children as they age. As such, the choices change. A plant in winter is much different from a plant in summer. A child will ask for a lost toy but as an adult they could send you anywhere. Being prepared is important and looking with both your eyes and mind is extremely helpful. If you have harvested a farm then chances are it will be empty for some time. That doesn’t mean it will stay empty. Things grow back, broken things are repaired while other things brake. City’s grow larger every year and if you are not careful you could be swept away into the past with no knowledge of the future.
=========================================================================
Working for the Man
Making a living in Estyre is hard for some and even harder for others. If you are having trouble there is no reason to keep making your way alone. Seek out employment either by asking around or visiting the employment agency. Employment agency’s can be found anywhere but they will give you low paying jobs with horrible hours. The longer you stay though the better jobs they can give you. Freelance work is a little different. Pay and hours can vary and sometime you will have to spend more time getting ready for work than it’s worth.
=========================================================================
Racist
Its possible, no matter where you go people can be harsh. Although in Estyre things go deeper than just skin color. Living on Estyre are nine common races, each with varying tones of either fur, skin, scales or feathers. In some places things like this won’t matter but in others trying to walk in a Wolven bar as a human will have some seriously bad results. Shopkeepers may refuse to serve you and some employers wont want you working. It even gets to a point where there is the occasional crazy whom would rather have you skinned and on their wall. Careful where you sleep, no one can be trusted.
Wolven
Supposedly descendant of the guides the Wolven are a strong willed bunch however they are still dependent on instinct, as such they can often make the wrong decisions. They are primarily pack animals so the chances of finding a stray Wolven is very low however it is possible. Stray Wolven however are often dangerous and savage having completely given in to common wolf instinct.
Common wolves
Se-Wolven
Wolven-Human hybrids, inheriting the Wolven’s strong will and the human’s intelligence they are a fierce bunch and not a race to be reckoned with, they are more than willing to fight for what they believe. Being one of the most excepting species their doors are open to all those but the Kajj.
Humanoid wolves
Kajj
Dumb and severely aggressive, this race doesn’t mingle well with anyone but their own kind. Getting into any kind of Kajj faction is extremely hard unless you know what you’re doing. Although they are very rough on the outside Kajj are quite helpful given the right conditions.
Humanoid pigs
Siethan
Siethan are fast and strong, fierce predators with the keenest smell of the races. The make ideal hunters and their wares are often rare and well worth the walk to their villages. However they hold grudges and one would not want to make an enemy of the race clearly created for the hunt.
Humanoid Lizards
Feverith
Not much is known about this race other then that they share some connection to the mother herself, they are smart, wise and extremely beautiful folk with the unusual ability to shape-shift into large wolf like creatures with extra limbs such as wings, extra tails and the like.
Pale-Skinned Humans
Sociecte
The demon race of Estyre, Sociecte are vicious and often born insane. They are however very nurturing to those they are related to as well as close friends and Se-Wolven. Few of them make it past childhood but those who survive can live for hundreds of years.
Winged/Horned Demons
Human
The most common of all races and the most hated. It is said humans where the creatures to eradicate the guides however it is un-proven. Most hostile towards the Sociecte humans have the unusual ability to see the strengths and weaknesses in other creatures.
Largely Ranged
Guides
At one time they came in all shapes and sizes all over the world. They where not quite a race in themselves but more a sub-race all creatures shared. They came in forms from eagles to mice but unlike others of their species they where amazingly smart and held the gift to control the elements. They called this Magic.
Any Form But Human
Seymanda
Water-bound fish usually found in beach towns. They are rare and few but still enough to label a race and not some in-bred accident. Not much is know about them but both Seithans and humans take great pride in wearing their skins.
Large Fish
=========================================================================
Sexist
“Ha! What does a woman know about that”! “You can’t lift a box because you’re a woman”, “well let me tell you. You’re a guy so that makes you dumb as pig s#!t”. We have all heard it and chances are we have all been in the same boat. No matter how you look at it it’s not nice and things are just the same in Estyre. Just because your half dead doesn’t mean they would be willing to sell you their potions. Shopkeepers can refuse to offer their services, people won’t talk to you. Sometimes they will even go as far as to attack you. Some though can be swayed with bribes, often visits and even the occasionally flirtatious remark. The trick is to know what would work. You don’t want to make things worse.
=========================================================================
Cuddly Companion
There are pet shops all over Estyre but they all have different prices and pets, buying a puppy in the tundra isn’t just the responsibility of owning a pet but also knowing its weaknesses, let me explain. Going to a tundra pet shop to buy a puppy means that your little puppy will be strong against the cold, ice and water attacks but very weak in the heat and against fire attacks. Taking a tundra puppy into the desert will constantly drain its health and usually give it severe heatstroke and vice-versa with a desert dog taken into the tundra. It will get frostbite and other unpleasant illnesses. Dogs aren’t the only things for sale though, birds, mice, cat, chickens, dragons, unicorns and many more. All you have to do to find your perfect companion is know where to look.
You can also buy your pet amour/clothes/weapons. Fight with it or use its special abilities to locate hidden items and places. However pets get sick just like you, fighting sewer rats is likely to give your poor pooch flees or that new kitten horrible worms. Having a sick pet travelling with you makes you ill too! Remember to feed it and bathe it!
=========================================================================
Guilds
Guilds and/or factions litter the world of Estyre, some are public while others take pride in hiding among the shadows. Joining guilds is a good way to pass time and earn money. They offer both large and small quests of various difficulties although as you progress through their ranks you are likely to be asked to complete harder tasks. Some guilds require an insiders opinion, you wont know who to speak to but considering the guilds are huge taking a quest to save someone’s cat could go a long way. The more secretive the guild the harder it is to find someone to let you in, or you might need more than one. Being excepted is usually quite a chore, some guild will ask you to complete a quest or obtain “Votes” from other members. There is even one that goes as far as to ask you to kill children for entrance. In-all there are only three public guilds but who knows just how many others are out there hiding away from unworthy eyes…
Mages Guild
Quite obviously the guild of all things magical, primarily good. They are public and anyone can ask to join however they offer the best missions to those with experience. The higher your level, the better you will be treated. Becoming a member isn’t the only thing available, the will willingly offer their services for the right payout.
Warriors Guild
Another public guild, their quests are difficult but on a different level to the Mages Guild. They will ask you to hunt, slay and occasionally protect to earn your way to the top. They expect complete loyalty from their members. Much like the Mages Guild they offer services but at more affordable prices. They are limited however and won’t be of much use unless you need muscle.
Thieves Guild
Yes they are public and proud of it and yet somehow they find a way to avoid being shut down completely. When your a member of the thieves guild your able to enter places you couldn't before, certain bars and clubs will open up their secret sections while some shops will offer you valuable items for half the price. However, guards are always on the lookout, running into them with something not to great in your inventory could get you into a lot of trouble so make sure to find a place to stash all these goodies.

No information can be written as these are highly secretive so heres just a little taste of the Estyre world.

Enemies/Wildlife
Battles are different wherever you go in Estyre, what you fight is based on your landscape and certain foods/items in your inventory. The key difference to most other games is that not all of them level. Main areas will always have weak monsters no matter how strong you become however places such as caves and dungeons have far stronger monsters so even though the location can be reached at a low level you still have to become stronger before you can enter and survive.
Everything drops something different, fighting a lizard can earn you a series of things from lizard bones, skulls and skins to their eyes, scales, body parts and whatever is in their stomach. A lot of loot for small creatures right? Well things from lesser creatures sell for less, a lizard skull is lucky to fetch a one gold price however getting a skin from the same creature can earn you up to ten gold. It all depends on what you do and how you do it.
=========================================================================
Fast Travel/Public Transport
When visiting a new location before to check in at shops, especially mages guild. Every major city or town offers Way-Stones to their tourists so buy one and take it home with you to connect it to your very own teleport system. Don’t have a house? Fear not. Most guilds supply one ready for either its members or the public, Way-Stones are still needed to operate these but they are a different type so be sure to buy the right ones.
Still not satisfied or maybe just not interested in having your particles microwaves then sent through the skies faster than the speed of light? Try the normal public transport, every public place will have one or more: boats, airships, carts, Phaux’s, ships and occasionally back-flight including giant eagles and dragons. Granted they take more time but isn’t the scenery worth it?
=========================================================================
Fishing/Gathering
Fishing/Gathering
Everything depends on how prepared you are, owning a fishing rod or fish trap will allow you to fish in almost any water however what you use greatly effects your catch. Bait, water, location, trap/rod used and even the time of day. The same applies with gathering, bugs, plants, foods and animals. They are all effected by different things so if you plan on making a living off these then you had better learn how things work and as fast as possible.
=========================================================================
Bathing
Bathing
The longer you go without a bath the dirtier you get, certain things effect it more than others like walking through deserts/marshes as well as hunting, gathering, bleeding and fighting. Make sure to wash regularly as it drains your max amount of mana the longer you leave it. Wash whenever you can, keep an eye out for spas or public bathing grounds, some hotels and inns also have baths available when you rent a bed. Soaps also affect how long you can last without bathing, the better quality the soap the longer you can wait.
CHARACTER BIOS
There are many, many people in Estyre, more than half can easily become part of your character’s life. Here are a few you are likely to meet as well as some you might be lucky enough to find as you explore more of Estyre. Keep in mind that everyone of the opposite sex can be triggered into a “Romance” with your character provided you know how to do it.
=========================================================================
The Mother
One of the many gods in Estyre, call her mother nature if you will. She is now non-existent after human kind brought around her destruction. Everyone knows of her but few believe she ever existed, those who remain loyal prey for her return. They say that she was never truly overthrown but rather stepped down to show the world how it would end where she not to protect it. However there is no solid proof. As with many religions its been so long ago that no-one is likely to remember the time ruled by her either.
The Mother has no real connection to the main character yet as the story unravels so too will her twisted and obscure past. Now something to be aware of. If you choose a light alliance, the mother will continue to remain good however if you choose dark alliance she too will follow.
This is all I can say otherwise it will give away to much of the intimate story behind her past.
Appearance
A large white wolf with wings, her body holds many black symbols and her eyes are a deep shade of green.
=========================================================================
Sithis
A guide who stood by The Mother until her death. All that can be told now is that he is the key. This is no metaphor either. Shortly after you begin Sithis will join you in a form based on your current progress, someone likely to be trusted by your character. Using the alias Sith he seems to be your one true friend in this world and although he has his moments he always protects you, and you him.
Word of advise, He isn’t one to mess with. If he says walk you walk and if he says run you high-tail it out of there. Although you don’t know what he is or who he is you know he is NOT what he tells you. But do you trust him? Yes. but you know there is something else to your whole relationship.
Appearance:
A red fox, his eyes are dark blue in color, unlike common foxes he has many strange markings that constantly change.
=========================================================================
Kydune
The one person who always knows where you are, what your doing. He says hes a fisher one day and then the other something else. Why does he act this why and more importantly what are his ties to the goddess Innockato? Why is he the only one to know her true name, the name of the mother? The longer you play the more you will come to hate him. Slip up just once and he will be on your case like an angry mother without the pro’s of a nice home-cooked meal afterward. He will fight you whenever he gets the chance yet tell you he can be trusted. Worst of all though is the fact that he seems to know Sith, perhaps even more than you do. (Although at times it seems that’s pretty easy to do).
Appearance:
Constantly Changing but always with red hair and brown eyes.
=========================================================================
Lia: A child who insists on being part of your so called “Gang” She will often make things very difficult.
Kostya: A beautiful Feverith, she lends you her sword on one condition, you lead her to her death along with yourself.
Rayne: A powerful mage with keen eyesight, she is of an unknown race and although she never speaks her reactions are the easiest form of communication.
Whisper: Yes, little whisper. A beaten up Wolven child with wisdom far beyond her years. Shy, smart and fiercely loyal she makes a good edition to your party.
Kavu: Mister joke-around, this Wolven is a lively sort who will keep you in stitches as the game moves on.
