Echo was lost in her own thoughts about the Mitsuteriasu Pack. Things like, would the other pack members be nice to her? Could she easily make friends in the pack? How will the higher ranks react…so on and so forth. She heard Elva bark something to Fae, but Echo was too deeply thinking to attempt to figure out what the pup said. Echosong snapped out of her thinking for a while to glance at the surroundings. Elva was on her right side, and Kavu and Fae were to her left. She noticed that Elva kept glancing over at Fae. ‘I wonder what she could be doing.’ Echo thought. ‘Elva is a weird one, there’s no telling what could be running through her head.’
Echosong continued walking. She looked down at Elva then turned to Kavu and Fae. The missing leg on the pup had disturbed her, Echo would try to stop looking, but it wasn’t as easy as she thought. ‘I know what to do!’ she suddenly thought. ‘I’m going to play with my light powers. Hopefully this will distract me from looking at the missing leg.’
The femme started to condense small flakes of light in front of her. She took in a small breath and blew at the light flakes, scattering them. She made a ring. ‘This kind of looks like a halo.’ Echo thought. The fae guided the light ring over to Elva and laid it over her head. The femme let out a giggle. For something as simple as light, who ever knew it could be so entertaining.

She carried on, her eyes upon the path ahead yet her mind upon higher things. Having lived here for a few months now, she pretty much knew all the beaten paths and could traverse them blindfolded. On many occasions she had been wandering out after dark; neither Lucid nor Tola or Crow seemed to have any problem with her wanderings as long as she didn't extend her wanderings to the other packlands, and she was perfectly content with staying in the mountains.
However a small part of her wondered what could possibly be beyond those arching peaks of mountains, and whether a better life lay in wiat for her beyond them. She was not to know that these thoughts were not her own, but little niggles placed there by the unknown vector. She was the Body, but she was not to know that. She would, in time, but not yet.
She cast her glance over o her little quarry; her mauve nose twithce,d telling her that they were nearing the path to the den areas. They should rweach there by nightfall if nobody needed to rest. Elva would be able to push herself for the older wolves if they wanted to reach the den, not complaining nor showing any signs that she was tired, but she worried for Fae. Though the pup showed no sign that her stump hurt her, she would be more tired than the others due to loss of blood. They might have to stop and rest.
Something out of the corner of her eye caused her to look up, and she did so without slowing, her brow furrowing in confusion. A childish reaction to anything shiny, her paw flew up and batted it, and the vision faded away. Looking back down she glanced around her party, eyes flickering in a surprised manner, looking for the signs of someone using a power.
