Kalypso yelped as she was tackled to the ground. She laughed the whole way down. As Iki nuzzled at her neck, Kali couldn't help but laugh and giggle. At such close proximity, Kalypso was able to get a good wiff of Iki's marvelous scent. It wrapped her up in a blanket of protection and love.
Apparently the newfound love was overwhelming for Iki. He howled his song into the skies, sharing his joy for everone to here. As Kalypso stood the sun seemed to shine brighter than before. The temperature seemed to raise, as well. Kali wasn't sure whether it was the actual temperature or the overwhelming happiness, but whatever it was she liked it.
Kalypso joined Iki with a song of her own, singing her happiness and excitement. Afterwords, she leapt onto Iki's back, nipping at his ears while giggling nonstop.

Iki calmed his powers slightly, and turned his head to nip at Kali while she was on his back.
He pulled at one of her legs and shook his body, so that she sprawled in the dust. Iki punced and pinned her to the ground, grinning the whole time. "Pinned, you" he said before licking her face and hopping off.
Iki pranced around Kali with his tail in the air, curled over his back. He punced at her, not gowing all the way to her every so often. He was just so happy.

Kalypso made a wolfish pout as she was pulled off Iki's back and then pinned, easily. She rolled to her feet and pounced at the brute again. "Oh no you don't," she said. The fae rammed into his side attempting to push him to the ground using all her might.
Her paws dug at the ground beneath her and she made small grunting noises as she tried to pin him. He was just to big! Compared to the brute, Kali was tiny. There was no way she could bring him down, but she kept trying anyway.

She just kept trying to pin him. She knew he was bigger so why did she try? Iki thought
Iki threw himself on the ground dramaticly, saying "Oh, no you seem to have pinned me!" Iki grinned up at her from his posistion on his back underneath her, before beding up slightly to lick her face again.
With this posistion Iki could smell Kali very well, he inhaled as much as possible. Iki felt as if he could fly, though he had no wings. He gazed into her blue eyes, and wiggled, prompting her to get off him so that they may go again.

Kalypso beamed as she laid atop Iki, even though she knew Iki fell over on purpose. "Ha!" she screamed out in triumph. As he wiggled beneath her, Kali just sat there. She bent down and started nawing on his shoulder, trying to find a tickle spot.
When she couldn't find one, she gave a sigh and let Iki up. She sat, allowing her tail to cover her fore paws. Kalypso simply watched him, then. The fae loved to watch him. It was becoming one of her favorite past times. A tender smile graced her face as she bent her head to place a wolfy kiss on his nose. "I really do love you," she whispered as she nuzzled her nose against his.

Kalypso jumped off of him and sat there watching him. Iki watched back, he looked at her face, her muzzle, the curve of her head, the way her tail curled around her paws. The way she sat, and the way she stared.
It was all just so...so...beautiful.
Kali cam over and gave him and kiss, and he said I really do love you, and Iki's heart faltered, he loved hearing those words come out of the fea's maw. It was invigorating, as invigorating as the rain on a hot day.
Iki let the rain from his thoughts drizzle slightly on him and her. He glanced at the sky and thought abou t the sun again and there is came.
Iki nuzzled Kali "I love hearing those words, I love you too" He said to he smiling goofily.

Kalypso contented herself with laying her face against Iki's. She inhaled his scent, like she had so many times before. It was beautiful. His aroma was sweet, yet masculine at the same time. It comforted her, made her happy. She realized she was becoming addicted to his scent.
Kali let out a small chuckle. Th fae laid down, her face still very close to the brute's. Her ears flicked to and fro as she listened to his deep breathing. Her black and blue wings flexed out wide in a small stretch.

Iki laid down beside Kali, happy to just be beside her. He loved her with all his heart. They would need to go to Kerrigan with the news of their matehood. "I love you" He said once again.
He nuzzled his nose into her fur and fell asleep. After all he did wake up early...

Kalypso's eyes drooped as Iki curled up beside her. The fae snuggled close to his large, warm frame. She nuzzled her maw into his shoulder and drifted off to sleep.

Mmm.....A bone cracked beneath his teeth as he worried it. Meat still hung from it in filmy snags, but he wasn't worried about that at the moment. Just the tang of marrow as it hit his tongue. He'd been hunting alone, dragging home a small marsh buck. Young with small horns it hadn't been a challenge at all but it had meat on it that the rest of the pack could eat. Kerrigan himself had only really wanted the thigh bone with the chunk of flank attached to it. Yum. He leaned down, letting a piece of white bone slip out of his maw before he pulled another hunk of flesh and gulped it down. He ate in the fashion of wolves, without much worry to making a mess, but with a swift, no nonsense ease that could almost be called elegant. Not that Kerrigan payed attention to that. He tossed his head and the bone clicked against his teeth as he thought.
He'd heard the calls echo through the territory earlier. The cry of love. Hmm...he'd put great effort into courting Zephora. But that was another thought not on topic. It had been the two newer wolves, Iki and Kalypso. A little soon for them to be serenading the Moon with their tales of devotion. But then again he himself hadn't ever been in love so how would he know? Zephora...she was something, and he did feel connected, but he was still unsure about what exactly he felt so it was a no go there. He smiled lightly as another crushing crack fled through the quiet camp. They'd be here soon, to ask permission to mate. Or be mates. Or something. He'd already decided they could be together - he would stand in their way - but pups...hmm. Probably not. He wanted some of his own, and Zephora had his eyes firmly planted on her.
But maybe pups weren't such a good idea. The pack was still unstable...He let his eyelid lower to half mast as he thought. He liked the two wolves, but they hadn't really decided to become acquainted with him yet so he'd see. He didn't have to love them, but they were always off alone and together. Not very supportive of the pack...And on that thought, he peered around. And where in Aelyn was Lucy? She and that bird had to be somewhere. He brushed of the flash of worry and set his 'chew toy' down, stretching his legs in front of him, the lime claws digging into the earth.

Kalypso yawned as she awoke from her nap. She sat up and stretched, much like she had that morning. The fae flexed her blue and black wings, giving a small grunt in satisfaction. Kalypso nudged Iki with her paw, awaking the massive brute. They had to speak with Kerrigan. While awaiting Iki to wake up, the fae thought about how the Alpha would react.
Perhaps he would not approve. Perhaps her forbade it. Kalypso shook her head. She shouldn't be thinking such thoughts. Love was love. Whether it was known within a day of meeting or within years of meeting. It was still love. She had to believe he would allow their partnership. Especially since his love for Zephora was growing. He would understand, wouldn't he?
Seeing as Iki wasn't rousing from his slumber, she shook him again. "Wake up, we have to go see Kerrigan."

Iki rumbled deep from his throat, batted at Kali, and rolled over and went back to sleep. He did not want to get up right now.
Kerrigan, mates, Iki shot up from his posistion, "We have to go see Kerrigan!" he exclaimed all the sudden. He stood, shaking himself to get any loose dust that had decided to sleep with him on his coat off. 'Not that, that helps' he thought looking down at his filithy coat.
He licked at his paws, then thinking better, they would get dirty on the short trek back to camp, he began to lick Kali, trying to get her as clean as possible, to return the favour of her cleaning him when he had fallen down, his coat was beyond repair, he would need to go and seim in a clear lake or something to clean himself. 'Oh well, now I know why the dark wolves gravitate here, the mud doesn't show up as much on them' He thought grumpily.
He finished his rasping of Kali's coat and licked her muzzle lovingly, "Come, we must see Kerrign and get his aproval!" Iki said excited to have a mate for the first time.

When Iki shot up like a mad man, Kali jumped in surprise. He better not do that every morning,' she thought, her heart still pounding. As he shouted out, all Kalypso could say was, "Duh!" The fae placed a paw on his head, right between his ears. "Your alittle forgetful, are you?" she said, talking to him playfully as if he were a pup.
Kalypso chuckled as Iki began to clean her fur. She guessed it was a thank you for her cleaning him earlier in the day. As he finished she licked his maw and off they went. It didn't take long for them to return to the den, they didn't go that far out in the first place. Walking inside, Kali could see Kerrigan already awake eating breakfast.
She walked up to him, and sat before him. "Alpha, Iki and I wish to speak with you," she paused momentarily before continuing,"We wish to be mates." She said it bluntly. No beating around the bush. No sugar coating it. It was what they wanted.

he rumbled, passing a paw over her ears lightly in a caring gesture. He stood, his paws holding his weight easily. He gazed between the wolves before touching his nose first to the winged blue, then to the golden eyes white. "Ye hae me permission an' me bes' wishes....jus' nae pups 'his season. I hae been yearnin' fer some o' me own, true?" he murmured, flashing his teeth in a grin.[/ul][/blockquote]

Kalypso smiled as her frame relaxed, all tension leaving her body. A broad smile spread itself across her maw at the Alpha's permission. It was definitly the happiest day of her life. The fae let her gaze shift from Kerrigan to Iki and gave her new mate a nuzzle. She then returned her gaze to her Alpha.
"Thank you, my Alpha!" she exclaimed. "Now that our pressing matter has been resolved, what may I do to repay your kindness?" she asked. It may have only been one day, but she felt she was already lacking in her pack duties. Kalypso wanted to be helpful and give her assistance whenever it was needed.
"Perhaps, we could spend a few hours getting to know each other? We only met just yesterday and we haven't had the chance to do any bonding of any sorts. I would greatly love to come to know you, Zephora, Lydia, and all the others," she stated. The fae got to thinking, then. She and Lydia had gotten off to the wrong start. Kalypso shook her head. She would make things up to the fae later.

"Yes that sounds like a great idea, Kali" he flushed at using his nickname for her outloud, and in front of the alpha no less. He licked her muzzled thoughfully, Lydia, she seemed dark and cold, but he had a feeling that in time, he could be friends with her. Everyone in the pack seemed very nice, and Kerrigan had just given them permission to be mates! Nothing could go wrong, nothing could bring him down from this high. Nothing. Iki couldn't get happier, he bowed his head to the slightly bigger wolf, and said "Thank you, Alpha" and he grinned respectfully at the brute. He looked over to Kali, no his mate, God she was beautiful, her coat was so black it turned a blue color in the sunlight, and her eyes, they were just so captivating, he couldn't take his own yellow orbs off of her.

Kalypso smiled at Iki affectionately. She loved that he used her nickname, it showed love. After he licked at her maw, she returned his kiss with one of her own. The fae licked at his pure white cheek, in a silent thanks. She returned her gaze to the Alpha and sat closer to her mate, their shoulders touching.
Her mate. Kalypso loved the sound of it: mate. Her mate. She could go on and on simply saying that one word. It was all thanks to Kerrigan. Now, Kalypso wanted to repay him in any way she could.

. And the pack had grown just a bit, providing shelter and helpful paws but not too many to make it hard to feed two litters. He curled his tail musingly before rolling his shoulders and deciding he'd talk to Zephora about it. And speaking of Zephora...He peered around him, as if he'd find the white female at his side magically. But no winged beauty was found and he tossed a glance to her den, deciding maybe she was asleep or out checking the territory. He looked back to the two wolves in front of him as Kalypso spoke. The blue winged was a lovely she-wolf, and Iki better be pleased with his mate. He smiled and was about to answer but Iki chirped his own response. The nickname was a sweet one, and one Kerrigan would make sure he never used without permission. It seemed like something they could share and he wouldn't go against that. He gave his head a shake. "Nae nee' ta 'hank me, wee frien's," he said, still wagging his head gently side to side. He gave a soft snort. "'Here'll be time fer bondin' la'er. Ye two run 'long and enjoy yer new matin', true? Nae ever'day ye ge' a par'ner," he murmured, winking lightly, his lime orbs dazzling in his black furred face. He rose to his paws and gave a stretch, deciding that if they really wanted to spend a few hours with him he would be fine. He didn't much mind company. But really, like they wanted to stay around him.[/blockquote][/ul]

Kalypso cocked her head to the side, a tender smile gracing her lips. Kerrigan didn't want to keep the two from their time. "Really, Kerrigan. I want to come to know my Alpha. It's important for pack mates to know one another and to come to trust each other. Iki and I have the rest of our lives to ourselves, but now its time for us to build healthy relationships," she said. It was important to her that she get to know Kerrigan and the others. As she said, she had the rest of her life to spend with Iki.
The fae didn't want the others to feel as if she was ignoring them. Kalypso cared a great deal about what her pack mates thought of her. She also wanted to take the responciblity of Betess. She wanted to prove to Kerrigan that she was capable of doing her pack duties and more. Kali looked to Iki and then to Kerrigan, her blue eyes shining with cheer and happiness.

i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa35/Sigath/iki.png [/img] Iki smiled at Kali. She really cared about the pack and becoming friends with everyone. She was right though, they had the rest of their lives to spend together, and now it was time to get to know the rest of the pack. He looked at Kerrigan and nodded his head in agreement, "It's true, we are new to the pack, and we have all the time in the world to be together, and I also would like to meet everyone else in the pack, and get to know them." Iki said to the black brute. His yellow orbs stared into Kali's ice blue ones. He grinned gently, and mischevioulsy at her. He had and idea. He wouldn't tell her, but it would be hilarious when he did it. He could already see it. He hoped she wouldn't be angry at him for it.He had to stop thinking about it before he got to excited. Why he had thought of this idea now, it just came from no where. He shook his head to clear his thoughts, adn shook his body to get dust off. Not that, that would get him clean, he was still a filthy mess from falling
