~Tyrome When she snorted, he found this hilarious. Extremely. Why? He didn't know. Suddenly, the irritation that once bugged him slipped away. His emerald hues began to melt once more. They turned soft, like a teddy bear, like his hidden personality was, just a teddy bear. The male hid it with a tough side, but that side slipped away from him. Tyrome peered up at her again, chuckling, still amused by the snort. The glance that she shot at him was caught. He saw it, and it made him even more amused. Those eyes watched her, and his body didn't seem so tense anymore.
A female mind-reader. He never came upon this. Never even heard of this. Well, you learn new things every day. And he wanted to learn more of her, and wanted to hear another snort. "Really? Water? That's interesting... So, you can bend the water and make it swirl?" His tone wasn't mocking, it was just curiousity. He wanted to see this, and his head tilted slightly. Those ears of his twitched, and perked then folded back. Something told him that he wanted to play, and his paws ached in anticipation. Instead, though, he ignored it.

((The whole betas as mate thing is based on realistic wolves, though the Alpha can choose otherwise. As for Sphinx choosing which one he wants, I think he's thinking about it at the moment. I'm thinking he would probably want them as mates, but thats just my thoughts on the matter from trying to see his perspective. Don't quote me on it.))

laugh she couldn't help but think that she shouldn't be something that was laughed at. But she forced her head back up and gave him a smile that was fake ( but he wouldn't be able to tell that ) and flicked an ear as if she didn't much care nor mind. She didn't bother to study his body language, to take in the shift and stance, the smoothing of muscles and the easing of mind. But she did keep hers at a nearly regal, collected form that was neither dominant nor submissive at this point. Ah, Minou. Always in the middle to keep everyone calm. When he spoke she smiled lightly and her nose dipped in a gentle, nonverbal 'yes'. His tone was light, and held no mean edge so she leaned down, the tip of her nose to the grass she stood upon and breathed in slowly...easily...one long breath before lifted her head and a small ball of dew hovering above her nose. It was about the size of two of her small toes and she tilted her head at him. "No bigger than this, since I do not wish to kill the flora," she explained lightly. She jerked her nose up and send the droplet high in the air. It broke into two and zipped toward Ty and looped around each other, two bright little dots. She smiled a little wider and brought them back and placed them back onto the blades of grass. "Not a big show, but there is no point for one."ooc - Sorry for the long wait.[/blockquote][/ul][/blockquote]

~Tyrome The emerald eyes of the snow white wolf widened a bit. He saw her breath in easily, and dew formed in the air. He was amazed. Truthfully, he has never seen any type of water manipulation power. He enjoyed the show, even if it was a small one. His eyes followed the dews, and watched as she put them back in to the earth. A small smile then widened on his face. Tyrome was very thankful for this, and he dipped his nose slightly to show that. "Thank you. That was pretty amazing," he said, in a nice, warm tone of voice. He couldn't get over the water, and the way she made it move. Okay, so it amused him, alright? He was easily amused, and the small liquid show did the trick. "You're right; there was no need for a show, but I've... never seen a wolf do something like that before, sadly." He couldn't believe himself; he admitted something to another wolf. The male creature usually kept these types of things to himself, so if his emerald eyes had widened a bit, he was rather surprised. Nevertheless, at least he didn't tell her about that. Maybe later on, maybe not. The thought of putting a block up to his thoughts never occurred to him, however. The possibility escaped him completely. Well, who knows, right?[[ OOC: Sorry for the long wait, too, and the short post. D: ]]

she said, easing away his confession away without embarrassment. It didn't bother her that he found the power interesting, they all were in their own ways. Her feathered tail flicked across the dirt ground, setting up a small cloud of dust and then curled it around her paws, the dark blue tip of the plumage touched her front toes. He seemed surprised at his own comment and she laughed lightly, a gentle trill like water over rocks. It was an odd voice...almost magical but absent of any accent that a land could give one. More like the water she used with such skill. "I am rather interested in the telepathy. I am...good at it I suppose, but I have not used it for a while. Wolves in this land are either worried about having someone intrude or those with it wish to force their way," she said, her teeth flashing in a pure white smile so unlike her light blue coat. He could probably guess how those tries went. ooc - omg so sorry. school attacked and my muse has been lame :/
