Eden greatly appreciated Cinder's comforting gesture. She nuzzled her nose into the Alphess' side, thanking her. The fae stayed close to Cinder as they made their way back to the den, Riptide close behind. Her paws made small crunching noises as they walked along the grassy floor.
They reached the den rather quickly. On the way in, Eden lifted her maw towards the misty water coming down. This was one of her favorite spots. Not only did it look majestic, but it was fun to play in. Eden turned her head away from the running water and padded into the den. Her claws made small clicking sounds as she walked across the stone.
She retreated to her "nest" which resided in between Cinder's and Masina's. She curled up and wrapped her tail around herself while she watched Cinder get Riptide acquainted.

Riptide moticed Eden getting closer to Cinder like she didn't trust him. 'This may be a while until I can get them to trust me' He thought.
When Cinder said slippery she was right, a paw almost slid out from underneath Riptide, but he caught himself. Once they got to the lookout point Riptide could see the whole camp. He could tell it was a peaceful place to live. He turned to Cinder and barked "This is a very beautiful camp you have here, Cinder."
Riptide looked around and he noticed Cinder point out her nest and when she smiled he blushed. Riptide smiled back trying to wipe away the feeling for the Alphess. He sniffed around looking for a good spot. He noticed a spot available not far from the Alphesse's nest, but not too close so that no one would suspect anything.

"Thank you" I said to him, I noticed him b=flush slightly when i smiled. 'That's weird' I thought, why would he flush when I smiled? 'Do I have rabbit in my teeth again!!!'
I rubbed at my maw, trying to clear the meat, if there was any, from my gums, and teethe. I looked at him, trying to pick a nest. 'I hope it's one by me' I thought, 'Woah! were did that thought come from?
I shook once more before stretching with my rump in the air and my tail curved elegantly over my back. Then turned three times and settled down in my nest.

Riptide circled in his nest three times then settled down. He folded his forelegs over each other and put his head down on top of them for the afternoon nap. 'A nice afternoon nap is just what I need' He thought to himself.
Before Riptide went to sleep he lifted up his head surveyed the den and noticed only a few nests were unoccupied and in a few there were some wolves that he hadn't seen before. Riptide put his head back down 'I can't wait to meet everyone after the nap, and maybe I'll be able to grab something to eat too.' Riptide thought 'But first I have to figure out the ways of this Pack and try to fit in the best I can.'
Riptide thought to himself a little more about the Pack, and right before he dwindled into sleep his last thought was about Cindershock.

I took one last look around making sure everyone was ok before looking at Riptide before falling asleep.
Dream:
Cinder was wondering through the forests of her packlands, following a strange scent, she didn't knwo who it was. She chased after it when she caught a glimpse of it, it was herself,as a puppy, right after her family had abandoned her. She was looking for them. Cinder watched her former self wonder around helplessy, sniffing at little bushes and trees along the way, trying to find Fire pack and her mother. When she found no trace of them she sat down at the roots of a giant oak and cried mournfully. The older Cinder tried to help her, to go over to her youngerself and confort her with some warm licks. But when she went to lick herself on the shoulder her toungue just passed straight through. NO, She thought.
Cinder was trashing around in her sleep, mumbling little No's over and over, wanting to get out of this...nightmare as fast as possible.

Eden was the only one awake. Riptide had fallen asleep a while before anyone else and Cinder was just settling down. The fae closed her eyes feigning sleep as Cinder took one last look around the den.
Eden was close to slumber herself, when she heard mumbles coming from Cinder's sleeping figure. The fae lifted her head up and inclined her head to hear. The word "no" was all she could make out.
She raised herself from her nest and padded over to the Alphess. "Cinder," Eden called out as she nudged her. Her only answer she recieved were more "no". Eden then placed small lickes upon Cinder's forehead, attempting to calm the distressed Alphess.

Riptide woke up from some wolf mumbling in their sleep. His eyes opened and he was tired. Riptide scanned the room to see who was making all the noises, he looked over at Cinder. It was her. 'I wonder what to do' Riptide thought. He got up and quickly stretched, then he quietly padded over to her. He could hear his claws lightly clicking on the rock floor.
Riptide sat down next to Cinder not knowing what to do. 'Should I wake her up, leaver her alone and let her dream?' His mind raced with options, but none of them seemed to fit. He looked down at her then looked up at the cave roof, trying to find the answer. "I know" he mumbled. He got closer to Cinder and lied down next to her, with their back almost touching. 'I hope this helps Cinder' Riptide thought.
With their back almost touching Riptide felt warmer inside. 'What's this feeling I have inside...it feels...good' Riptide thought. This time Riptide kept that warm feeling and drifted into a cozy nap

((Haven has grown up since then. Haha!)) Haven fell behind the rest as they headed for the dens. Cinder and Eden could take care of themselves. And he had recieved some good vibes from Riptide. The brute was damn hungry though. Haven shook his large head once and headed for the skies. It didn't take long for him to find a large buck munching on some shrubs. He dived into the trees, grabbing the elk by his neck and snapping it. Being a rather soft wolf at heart, this was his least favorite part about hunting. He shook it off and made sure the animal was dead... yeah, it was gone alright. Haven licked his maw slowly and checked the carcus to make sure there was no visible blood. He liked it when his offered meal was clean. Being as gentle as he could, he picked it up and flew toward the dens.
With a soft thump, his large paws hit the ground right before the main den entrance. He kept the large elk off the ground as much as possible as he brought it into the den. His mind was swarmed with feelings and thoughts as soon as he took three steps into the place. Haven sat the elk down and closed his crimson eyes. He had forgotten to put his barrier up again. Damnit.... Was Riptide really... yes, yes he was, he was growing feeling for Cinder.... And Cinder... A nightmare. Eden.. was awake? Haven padded his way closer to the back of the den where the sleeping area was. His head was hung low, a look of concentration was present on his face.
Haven took a few steps closer toward Eden, his crimson eyes glowing in the dim light. As odd as it was, there was a look of comfort in them. "She's just having a nightmare.... She'll be fine, Riptide's looking after her." His voice was strong, but quiet. A soft smile present on his maw. "There is food at the front of the den that I just caught. Would you like to share it with me? We can save the best peices for Cinder, if you so wish. And some for Riptide. That brute is starving." He let out a soft chuckle as he sat down on his hindequarters.

Eden looked to Haven and nodded her head. "I just don't like seeing her in such distress. It hurts me to see it, knowing I can't help, " she whispered in a sad tone. She stood from her seated position in front of Cinder and padded quietly to where Haven had laid his catch. The fae sat and allowed her tail to wrap around her fore paws while she waited for Haven to join her.
((Sorry it's so short. I can't think of anything else to write.))

Haven nodded his head once and fallowed Eden over to the meal. He waited until she was sat before he took a spot next to her. His large head was hung low in an attempt to seem smaller. "I know how you are feeling. I was in a situation quite like it before I came here." Haven glanced toward the back of the den at Riptide and Cinder. He couldn't help but wonder how his parents were doing.... He couldn't go back though. It would cause far to much trouble.
Haven glanced down at the meal and then to Eden. He pressed his nose on the dead animal and nudged it toward her. "Eat. You need your strength in order to look after the Alphess." He smiled softly down at her, his crimson eyes appearing duller than usual.

Eden smiled at the brute. "Thank you, but you should eat first. It's your catch," she said, insistantly. She used her paw to push the carcas back towards Haven. She wasn't that hungry to begin with, but she knew that if Haven had gone hunting, he was. Her black tail seemed to sweep the den floor as she occasionally glanced to the sleeping wolves.
When she returned her gaze to Haven, she noticed his cimson eyes seemed dull. She tilted her hed to the side and asked, "Are you alright, Haven? You seem a bit down?"

Haven let out a soft chuckle and smiled. "The females should always eat first. But if you insist." He bit into the carcas and pulled, revieling the bloody meat. Taking a small bite, he swallowed and licked his maw, keeping himself clean. He took another small bite before nudging Eden softly. "It really is delicious. You're missing out." He flashed his bright white teeth at her and lowered himself to the ground.
He glanced back at her when she mentioned his eyes. He hated those damn things.... "It's nothing. There is a lot going on. Too much thinking, is all. Now join me and eat." Haven pulled at the elk, showing a very nice piece of meat to her. "I think it's calling your name... do you hear that? 'Eden.... eat me... enjoy it, Eden....'" He let a smirk fall upon his facade as he looked up at her from the ground.

Eden let out a chuckle at Haven's antics. "Alright, alright," she said, in mock annoyance. The fae leaned down and took a bite of the elk, deep in thought. She didn't believe what Haven said. Eden knew something was wrong, but if he didn't want to talk about it she wouldn't push him.
After eating a few bites, Eden raised her head from the carcas. She licked her maw, cleaning off the remaining blood. "There. I ate," she said in exasperation. The fae turned her head to glance at the sleeping pair again, before turning back.

Haven let a look of satisfaction fall into his eyes. He smiled at her chuckle and sat back up, looking down at her. "That wasn't so bad, now was it?" He cocked his head to the side and frowned, watching her look back at the sleeping pair. He nudged her softly, "Are you alright?" He licked his maw and pushed the carcas away from them. "You're good at blocking your thoughts when I'm around.... Or at least, blocking your thoughts in general." Haven's massive wings twitched softly as he looked at her. "I'm worried... to tell you the truth. About my father.. and everyone in my family, actually. I knew something was up back there in the mountains, but there was nothing I could do. I was small and incapable of everything except reading my siblings minds and hearing how they thought they were so much better than each other and how they were going to take the place of alpha..." He let out a sigh, his head hung low in disappointment. "I'm so very sorry. You didn't need to hear all of that." Haven shut his dark, now peircing, crimson eyes.

Eden whipped her head around, facing Haven. At first, the fae was surprised. She hadn't thought Haven would open up to her. Then, she felt saddened. The brute was carrying a burden upon his shoulders. One that no one should carry alone.
"No, it's alright. I'm honored you trusted me enough to tell me something so...personal," she said, in slight amazement. She leaned closer and gave Haven a nudge. "If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here," she offered.

Haven's eyes opened slowly as he tilted his head and looked at her. He hadn't even told Masina how he was feeling, and yet here he was running his maw at Eden. She just had that trusting vibe, he supposed. Not that Masina didn't, oh course, but she was his aunt, it made it a different situation. "Uhm... thanks. I'm still sorry you had to hear all of that, but thank you for listening." He nudged her back softly, "I'm here for you too, if you want to talk. And I promise to stay out of your mind, let you keep your privacy." Haven smiled sweetly and nodded his large head.

Eden returned the smile. The fae nudged Haven again, but this for no real reason. "Thanks,"she said. A yawn escaped her maw as her eyes began to droop. "I think it's time for a nap," she said as she stood and walked to her nest. The fae curled up and rested her head on her fore paws.
"Night," she said, before she drifted off.

Haven nodded his large head once and watched as she headed for sleeping area. "Sleep well." He let out a soft sigh and glanced at the large elk that was pushed aside. It would be fine til morning. Eden and him hadn't exactly devoured it. He pushed it back a bit further and took a seat near the head of the den. His dark silouette was visible at the opening. He glanced at the falls and smiled softly. Everything was so beautiful here. The trees, the water, the wolves. Everyone's personalities seemed to match up rather nicely. There didn't seem to be any conflict... except personal ones, oh course. Haven hung his head and licked his maw. His crimson eyes darted back toward those sleeping. He scanned the area, his eyes falling on Eden. He wished he could join her in her slumber, but sleep would not come to him. Not tonight, at least. His best bet was to just keep watch and listen to the sounds of the falls.

Riptide started to wake up from the well needed afternoon nap. He opened shining blue eyes and looked at the top of the cave, then turned his head to look at Cinder. She had stopped her nightmares, for now. Riptide took in a deep breath and he could smell fresh kill. He decide it was time to get up, once up he stretched lifting his haunches into the air.
Riptide looked around all the other wolves were still sleeping and one that was previously vacant was now occupied by Eden. He looked towards the entrance of the cave an saw the big brute, that he has yet to know the name of, sitting there looking up at the shining stars above.
Riptide quietly padded up to the big brute and sat next to him, a little weary. "Hello," Riptide said "it's beautiful out tonight, isn't it?" Riptide said looking up to the stars as a light breeze blew a slightly ruffled their fur. He looked back to Cinder hoping she would wake up soon.

Haven grinned softly as Riptide woke up. Some male to male bonding time was always great. He nodded his large head once toward the brute and looked back out over the falls. "That it is. Pardon my manners, I'm Haven. Masina's nephew. And I've noticed you were hungry, there is fresh elk right there, if you would like some. Eden and I already ate." His crimson eyes were stunning in this light, a menacing ayer to them, even if it wasn't how he was really feeling. "Please, Sir, help yourself to meat. It is rather delicious."
