The moon hung high above the tree tops. Its illuminating rays animated the earth beneath it. The song of the night enveloped the forest and tickled the ears of all that passed through. A few owls called out to their brethren. In a polite way to exchange formidable greetings through out the forest tree tops. The smallest creatures scurried across the fallen leaves in an attempt to bypass any of the hunting predators. Tonight happened to be a hunting night, at least for him.
Blood was spilt across the grass in perfect little splashes. A few parts of the flesh were glued to the barks of the trees surrounding the crime scene. Lying in the bows of a lowering willow was what looked like sausage links. However, upon further inspection it was noted to be the inner small intestines of a fallen creature. Silence had suddenly slapped the forest mouth shut. Not even the whisper of a mouse could be heard. The smell of death was more then intoxicating in the surrounding woods and the reaper himself was gracing the woods with his presences.
Blood pooled off his jaws and fell to the ground beneath him. The blazing yellow eyes seemed hallow as he clutched an object firmly in his jaws. Steel blue paws gripped the earth in a possessive manner as he tasted the blood lingering in his mouth. The carcass was but a few feet away from him and the bloody paw prints indicated that he was the criminal. He moved away from the horridly disfigured body and began to descend deeper into the woods. His lanky figured was sadly mistaken for being unconditioned but from the gluten of his feedings he was more then satisfied in the hunger department.
He had killed a fellow gray wolf, so the remains were quite large like him. Never the less, he hadn’t killed on pack territory. No, he had killed right on the outskirts, in order to make a statement. The shadows whispered of their masters little hunting game and wondered what exactly the alpha would do upon investigating the situation. He hushed their chiming voices and disregarded their warnings. He needed to bath in order to wash away his little blood bath. As much as he enjoyed feeling the griminess of dried blood on his thin coat he needed to be a little clean when meeting the alpha. After all, it was common curtsey to look your best when meeting an upper ranking individual.
The smell of water tickled his dark nose. He continued on until he finally reached the small pond of water. Black slips slithered up into a wicked smile. So, this would be his place to clean his soul. His long ears twitched as he listened to the ever lasting darkness that swallowed the sounds around him. He turned to his reflection and smiled. Blood splattered his face in small little trickles. His yellow eyes glowed against the darkness of his face. The shadows were clinging to his legs in a protective fashion but released him once he began to touch the waters surface. The object in his mouth became disfigured in the waters reflection but once it settled once more it was clean as to what exactly the object was, it was a heart.
Slowly he pushed his body into the water. The blood separated from his deep blue fur. It pooled away from his body in small ripples. He refused to submerge his head fully to avoid damaging his little trophy. Once he felt the blood had been fully removed from his coat and vacated from the waters grasp. His fur was now heavy with the water logged feeling he detested. He shook his body to attempt to partially relieve himself of the heavy feeling. Then slowly he placed the heart down on the earth beneath him and placed a protective paw over it. He placed his rump on the ground and began to groom his face with his paw. It wasn’t a very affective way of cleaning but he didn’t want to hurt his trophy any more then he would with his fangs.

Carabella couldn't sleep. There was something about the air tonight, that made her restless. She stood from her confortable nest, and made her way outside the den. This pack was different, evil almost, but the members seemed, on the outside, nice enough. 'You'll get over it...' She thought, hoping she actually would. She looked to the sky, the moons was large this night, providing unusally bright lighting. She stalked on, through the forest, hoping to find the springs she spent most of the day at.
She followed her same path, seeing a teal Zinnia along the way. 'Is that...?' she asked, she had discovered her earth power this afternoon, after blowing on a baby Lilly. It had grown fully, and budded into a gorgeous eal color, much like this Zinnia. 'Whatever' she thought indiferently. Didn't matter to her very much at the moment. She was a fae on a mission.
Bella bounded on, her wings close to her sides, resting. She giggled and smelled blood. Lots of it. It didn't smell like prey, nor did it smell like pack scent. She followed her nose, coming to the border of the Misuteriasu Mountains packlands. She set one paw over the invisable line, and saw the source of the blood. It wasn't a slight amount in the least, from the border to about 50 feet out there was blood covering the harsh rock of the mountains.
Her eyes opened wide, and bile rose to her throat. Who would do something like this? She backed quickly back into her territory, looking around frantically. Panic rising in her mind, she turned and ran. She ran and ran until she reached the springs, she had found more than what she had set out to find.
She would tell someone about that in the morning. Unbelieveable. She walked to the edge of the water and looked into it, seeing her reflection. She drew her lip up in disgust and splashed her paw into the water, destroying the image. She layed down, resting her head on her paws. Her chin hit the cold one, the one she had just put into the water, and she raised her head to look at it. It was slightly red in color. Bella licked it and her eyes widened for the second time that night as she tasted blood on her pink tongue. She shot up like a rocket, looking around, searching with her eyes, ears, nose, and mind.
She saw the wolf first, then smelled him, heard him with her ears, and mind. Bella listened carefully, this wolf's thoughts were evil, wrong. He had caused the blood bath by the border, it was him who had killed. She swallowed the lump in her throat, before taking off into the air, and coming to land in front of him.
Her whole body trembled at the sight of him close up, he was grooming his face, his terrible face, washing to blood away from his maw. His blue coat was free of blood, which explained why the springs were full of it. She wrinkled her nose in distaste, and spoke slightly unconfidently "Who are you? And what do you want with the Misuteriasu Mountains pack?" Her voice changed slightly, to a angrier tone. This wolf had murdered another. She squeeked at the realization. And backed up one step, looking at the ground.
There on the ground, under a blue paw, was the heart of the wolf he had killed. She narrowed her eyes, and rose them to meet his gaze. She sqaured her jaw, and wished to the God's, if there were any, that another wolf would show up.

A sound caught her acute audits as she raised her head from her deep slumber. She noticed a wolf leaving the den area and slowly stood and stretched. The wind allowed the females scent to drift in her direction and she recognized the new scent of a new pack member... Carabella. Flicking her tail behind her and shaking the dirt and rocks from the vast mountain from her fur, she padded out of the cavern in the side of the mountains that served as the den area for the Misuteriasu Mountain Packlands.
Gazing upward, she noticed the moon was full, illuminating the entirety of the packlands that was claimed for the mountains as well as the other packlands the mountains overlooked. She could see all the way across the lands from the high point at which the den area rested. She saw the gentle drifting of the plains, the circle of stones that served as the alphen meeting places, the soft sway of the trees to the left of her that belonged to the Toko Forest packlands, the lush and majestic waterfalls of the Fukai Waterfall packlands and the vast marshlands to the very south of the continent that was the lands of Aelyn.
She took in the beauty, lazily gazing around her and wondering what the other wolves were like in all of the other packlands. Surely they weren't as strong and powerful as those of the Mountains, but they must have at least one little thing that is interesting about them, right? She yawned once more and slowly padded down the sides of the mountain, following the fresh scent of Carabella. She didn't know what this female was up to and just like her father, she didn't fully trust anyone, including the seemingly innocent Carabella.
Carabella seemed to be going to the edge of the packlands and this made Tola question her loyalties for a moment... but only for a moment... Until the fresh scent of blood caught her nose. She cocked her head to one side and padded slowly forward, carefully keeping silent and not alerting Carabella that she was being followed, and padded to the area where she noticed Carabella's mood instantly changed. It was obvious that something spooked her from the scent of fear that instantly began to radiate from the female.
Then she saw it... the body, or at least the remains of one, of a fellow grey wolf. Tola approached it and flicked her tail behind her, crossing over the border of her lands into the lands of the Kumori Plains... the lands that were unclaimable by rights of the rules of the Ancestors. She sniffed the carcass... It didn't hold any other scents around it but one... the scent of a brute. Obviously, this wolf was a loner wolf who didn't even get the chance to encounter many other wolves. She flicked her tail and turned her glowing golden eyes to the ground around it.
Entrails of the wolf littered everywhere, mixing easily with the slaughtered wolfs blood. She didn't feel sick, but it made her fur stand on end slightly at the very sight of it. She glanced around, finally noticing pawprints stained with blood. She padded over to them, her white paws easily getting stained with the dead wolf's blood as she sniffed. They were fresh... and they headed into the lands of the Misuteriasu Mountains... her packlands.
Anger grew within her as she sent silent threats to the brute. He had better not harm my pack members, or I'll make him look just like that loner down there. She flicked her tail and began to spring in the direction both the brutes scent and Carabella's scent went. It grew stronger and stronger until she could finally see them in the clearing.
Padding forward, she stood in front of the brute, though not before she noticed the pink tinged spring that the brute had so obviously bathed in. She growled slightly, though not loud enough for anyone to hear her, and padded forward.
"Greetings, brute. I see there's a fresh mess outside our borders, no doubt the fine handiwork of yourself?" She touched Carabella with her tail slightly to show that she had her back. Tola was just about as tall as Lucid, which was really saying something. Should a human about the height of 5 feet 6 inches or so stand next to her, she could easily look into his eyes without much effort... standing on all fours. She was large and feminine, though obviously had muscles that she could hold her own in a fight with any. She flicked her tail and rested her white wings to her sides. The moon illuminated her fur and her features, giving her a slightly glowing effect, though the most glowing part of her were her golden eyes, which did most literally glow. She was young and held her mothers beauty. The feathers upon her wings were highlighted flamed markings, much like similar highlights throughout the fur on her body. Fur was slightly longer around her face and hung into her left eye slightly, though she could obviously and easily see. Her neck fur was slightly longer, as was her tail, and she held herself in a very dominant position. She looked at the brute, waiting for him to speak, though her body was tensed and ready for any attack he might try to make.[/blockquote]

A soft, rustling sound awoke me from my somewhat pleasant dreams. I opened my emerald eyes a fraction, seeing who was up and about. I caught the sight of Carabella's tail as she was exiting the den. I had thought nothing of it and was about to drift off when Tola also stood to leave. This got my attention. What had caught the two faes attentions?
I lifted my multicolored head in curiosity as I stood. I gave a few quick stretches before wandering out after the two wolves. My paws still stung, but only slightly. They had begun to heal rather nicely. Now they were just a dull throb. My emerald claws clicked against the stone with each stride. I caught up to Tola rather quickly, but, as I strode up, she leapt down from the small ledge she had been occupying.
My green eyes narrowed as a sudden feeling overcame me. It was one of those feelings I got when I sensed a living being. This one was different, however. I had never sensed this particular being before. A newcomer perhaps? As I strode up to the ledge, I was overcome by a foul stench. I nearly fainted it was so horrible. When I got to the ledge, I sat and brought a paw to my snout, hiding my sensitve nostrils from the overwhelming and rancid stench. I gasped in horror of the scene I saw.
The stone of the mountain was painted in blood. I could see bits and pieces of what was left of the poor victim. I gagged as my stomach wrenched in disgust. My stomach was trying its best to rid itself of its contents. It took me a moment, but I easily overcame my sickness. I looked down to my new pack mates and saw that Carabella was frozen in fear while Tola was as confident as ever.
With a sigh of resignation, I leapt. Within seconds, I came to stand on Carabella's free side and nuzzled my nose into her neck fur, trying to calm the fae. Looking ahead of us, I concentrated my gaze on the murderous brute. I gasped as the vapor began to rise from his body. At a quick glance, it was near black! Upon further inspection, I was able to see that the vapor was, in fact, a very dark navy blue. It didn't matter all that much, though. I could tell from just the darkness of it that this brute's soul was evil and foul.
I nuzzled my nose closer to the fae, in hopes of breaking her fear. I made small cooing noises attempting to coax the femme into relaxation. "Shhh, everything will be fine, Carabella," I thought, hoping the fae would pick up on it.

She thrashed about in her sleep, plagued by horrible blood filled visions. Her tiny body twitched and spasmed, whacking against the walls of the cubby hole she had occupied since joining the pack. Her head bumped against the stone wall, and a trickle of blood dribbled from the corner of her mouth, staining the wall and her tongue a deep crimson.
She whimpered loudly, in terror at what she saw behind her lids, the trees painted with blood, the strange yet horribly familiar shapes that squelched when you stepped on them. The organs strewn about the forest floor. The mutilated corpse of the grey wolf tossed aside. And the worst, the worst image of all, that caused her violet eyes to snap open, unseeing, yet glowing visibly in the darkness of the den, and her voice to rise up into a long, terrifying howl that could not have been uttered by a mere pup. The worst image of all was the gaping chasm in the chest, the rotting hole where his heart should have been. Now only maggots lived under that skin. Elva flipped over, her tiny claws gouging small furrows into the sides of the cave her tail thrashing about like a deranged helicopter. She could feel his life- so taken for granted and so freely lived- ebb away. She screamed, retching at the feeling so close to her own heart. Just outside the packlands, so close, yet she was too late to stop the pain that flowed from that wolf's chest. The days meal threw itself from her coughing muzzle in a less than pleasant pile onto the floor and she sat there, heaving. Her stomach pulsed again, but there was nothing more to throw up. She sobbed once, loudly, her eyes losing the clouded vision as her sight once more returned to the sheer darkness of the cave, yet the image of the murdered wolf still burned fervently across her retina's and she shivered. She glanced around nervously, with fear that she had woken up anyone else- or with terror that the wolf who had murdered another had gotten so far as to enter their den- and found...almost nobody. Tola and Carabella had recently passed this way, and another wolf, whom she didn't know, but the scent was familiar. Channing was the only wolf she could see in the den, and she sighed, a great heaving sigh of relief. It all seemed so normal now, so...unthreatening. Yet the foreboding never left her, an odd feeling of being watched, or knowing something bad is about to happen. That never left her. She wiped her muzzle with her paw, only just realising that she had been weeping, and wiped the tears from her eyes with the other paw. Her ears flicked, and she turned over, scampering to the back of her cubby hole, where she was hidden in the shadows and curled up there, violet eyes barely open, waiting for the others to return.

The moonlight touched his pelt gently and he enjoyed the warmth that flowed through him. His shadows whispered of approaching canines and he lazily turned his attention to the slightly horrified female. Her heart beat made his ears twitched as she landed right before him. Her angry tone didn’t make a single muscles move in his perfectly still body. He slowly moved his head to the side in a quizzical manner and allowed his black lips to curl upright into a smile. Oh that smile was deadly and his dingy canines were still stained with fresh blood. He hadn’t done a good enough job of cleaning the evidence from his face and why should he? He hadn’t committed any crime against this particular pack now had he? He hadn’t broken any of their laws by doing as he pleased for he didn’t belong to them.
Her voice entered his mind and his yellow eyes locked with hers. They seemed to dilate and begin to draw her mind into his. If she wanted a taste of the monster he was then he would be more then obliged to show her. The shadows began to drift slowly towards her to help aid the process. However, his concentration was broken once another wolf approached the situation. He slowly in moved his head, in a puppet like way, towards her and kept the manic smile over his jaws. Her voice rang in his head and he allowed the face to be connected to the voice. His interest of spooking the first female flimsily faded away as his interest peeked on the more dominate female.
“Indeed, the handy work is of my doing.” He said in a stone cold tone. His eyes didn’t flinch and the shadows possessively curled around his legs. He tilted his head to the right with just a little angle too it. He looked down at his little toy and smiled at its perfect shape. He enjoyed making his trademark on his victims but tonight he had had his fill of death. He had delivered another to the underworld as promised and he wasn’t in the mood for blood stained paws over a freshly cleaned pelt. “So, some of the pack members have already sensed me. Interesting. So the rumors I have heard about Lucids pack seem to be quite precise.” He stated more to himself then to her. His yellow eyes slowly moved towards yet another female who had approached the Carabella. Well, was she a weakling that needed protecting or was she a female who could hold her own? He couldn’t quite figure that out on simply one encounter so judgment wouldn’t be passed until a later, more personal date. That is, if she could find the muster to even come close to him. He slowly picked his body up and turned his attention yet again on Tola. The first question bella had asked hadn’t gone unnoticed. His fluffy tail flicked behind his massive rump in a feline manner and he sighed. “Well considering the question has been distributed I guess it is safe to assume I shall incorporate an answer. Which is, I have come to see if Lucid would favor having another male to add to the little family of mountain wolves.” He said in a low and level voice. His yellow eyes hummed against the deep blue fur that wrapped around them. What was the most eerie part about his gaze was the fire like quality of the deep orange around the pupil. It gave them a burning gesture as if his gaze could burn the soul of anyone he laid his eyes on. [/sup][/blockquote]

Tola watched the brute closely. She would make sure he didn't harm the pack members, but she was intrigued by him. If there was any way to make an entrance, she guessed that would be one. He hadn't broken any laws, so he technically wasn't in trouble. Her pack members seemed to fear him, but Tola was only more intrigued by him. He had a darkness about him that made her curious about who he was.
Ahh, so there it was. He wished to join the pack. Well, he was obviously strong enough to do so, so she smirked to herself and to him. Granted, only Betas and Alphas were supposed to accept wolves into the pack, but Tola was acting Alphess, was she not? She could do the same.
"You seek to join my fathers ranks, do you? Well, I think we could make room for you, save one or two things. If I see anything happening to any of the pack members like I saw with that grey wolf you slaughtered, I'll have to punish you myself." She said this in a teasing manner. He was strong and she thought he would make a fine addition to the pack. "So, what is your name?" She smirked as she looked him over, noting his movements and mannerisms. He flicked his tail in a fashion not unlike herself or her fathers, which was yet another thing that made her all that much more curious about him. Granted, he seemed creepy to most, but Tola hadn't had much experience with wolves outside the packlands, so those she was raised around are the ones she was used to... he was something new, like a shiny new toy... and she was just very curious to see how he worked. His movements seemed to be slow and very calculated and she tilted her head to one side at the thought of this. Something about him, she couldn't figure out quite what, intrigued her, and she would get to the bottom of it if it was the last thing she did... and it very well could be! With each movement, her white fur caught the moons rays as she curled her tail around her paws and rested her wings to her sides. She was a large female, though she didn't let that get in the way of things. It just meant she could defend her own and she was strong, capable of handling herself and others. She smirked a moment longer, looking the brute dead in the eyes. "You can call me Tola." She smirked again and waited for him to respond.[/blockquote]

Tola walked up behind her, she probably followed her here. Bella should have been angry about it, but her presence made her slightly more at ease.
Ceres came up next, were all the wolves restless tonight? She shivered lightly and when Ceres came, she relaxed. Her conforting presence really helped. She slowly began to relax, getting used to the presence of this awful being.
"I'm Carabella." She said blunty. Introducing herself, so she wouldn't seem as rude. She was being rude, and she knew it, but she didn't trust this brute at all. "Tola, I don't like the look of this brute, nor his thoughts." She sent the thougth the the large fae standing beside her.
WHAT? Tola let him in, didn't she see what he did to that wolf, what if one of the pack was next? Why would she let him in, why wouldn't she let Bella chase him off and into the night, away from her new family. Bella looked at the large white fae, with her flame highlights and markings, her eyes wide in disbelief.
"Why would you let him in, did you see what he did to that wolf, and right outside the borders. He smelled our scent, he knew we were here. He killed that wolf, in that spot on purpse!" she thought to her in complete and utter desperation.
She couldn't let him in, this Zen, it was preposterous. Loony, unthinkable. No way, Tola would change her mind, she had to!

Uncomfortable feelings buzz around the air around him. He closed his eyes slowly ad drank in the aroma. It wasn’t uncommon that others had a tendency to be uneasy around him. After all, he was a killer naturally. Blood always found its way lodged with in his fur. His long ears twitched as the question of his agnomen and he pondered on the idea of giving a false title. This quickly vanished just as soon as it had been questioned, he decided against it. “I am called Zendelrin. You can either call me Zen, or Reaper. Both fit me just fine.” He said simply. He wasn’t a very emotional wolf and his voice was most of the time level. Perhaps this was one of the reasons he appeared to be so unapproachable.
He stood upright and the shadows hissed in response. They were unsure what it was their master was doing. He tilted his head to the ever so intrigued Tola and showered her with a dangerous smile. If she wanted to play with death, she would need to deal with the consequences. Though, something intrigued him a touch of the slightly unnerved Bella. Her desire for him to be exiled from the pack lands was more then evident in her body stance. He didn’t need mind reading ability to read others body behavior.
He took in a deep smell of Tola. Her smell didn’t fit to the smell of the pack lands. He had caught the aroma of another male. He had then remembered she had spoken of her fathers ranks. So she was filling in for daddy while he was away? How cute. His yellow eyes flickered for a moment but remained fixed on her. “Maybe I’ll just have to create a little chaos to see exactly what your punishment could be.” He said in a tense tone. It wasn’t quite obvious on whether or not he was being serious or joking. Though, his body wasn’t tense so it was safe to assume he was simply teasing.
He wondered how hard it would be to move up in ranks. At this current moment he was at the bottom of the ranking pool. He was a new member which there for labeled him as an omega didn’t it. Well, that wasn’t to be his rank for too long. He figured he would need to deal with Tola’s father in order to move his way up the ranking system. His tail curled around his legs as he carefully picked up his little trophy. His yellow eyes locked onto Bellas. He was testing her, perhaps even attempting to spook her further. She was wise to not trust him and so would the rest of the pack. For the reaper was never fully trust worthy.

I had stopped my nuzzling when I felt Carabella relax under my ministrations. I held my head high in the brute's presense, showing that I wasn't afraid of him, nor his actions. I was sickened by them, yes, but not frightened. Possibly a bit angry for what he had done, but never frightened.
My big emerald eyes held resolve as did my body language. When I heard Tola's answer to Zen's question, I was only a bit surprised. His actions and attitude for what he did probably intrigued the fae. To no end I would imagine. That was probably the reason behind allowing him entry. I remained still, my eyes never binking upon his dark figure. If he were ever to break Tola's condition, I would be there myself. I don't know how much damage I would cause, but I would cause as much as possible.
When he attempted a joke, I didn't laugh. I didn't find him funny in the least. I would have to get used to him, but it didn't mean I had to like him. When he turned his evil gaze to Carabella, merely to spook her, I stepped in his line of vision, hiding her from his sight. I let a low growl escape my throat. He may spook Carabella, but he didn't spook me. He was just another wolf with an issue. Nothing to be afraid of.
"I'm Ceres," I growled out.

Tola listened to her pack members. She had a feeling that they weren't all too keen on having him in the pack, but that didn't matter much to her. This brute was strong, and Tola had the feeling that part of her parents leaving for a while was to recruit more members, so in her mind, this was doing the right thing. He was strong, obviously, and he seemed as if he fit in with some of the other misfits in the pack.
The Misuteriasu Mountains had a weird pack, but that didn't by any chance make them weak. They were a strong pack, even in their smaller pack numbers.
Looking with a glance to her two pack mates, she turned her gaze fully back to the brute. "Nice to meet you, Zen. Or do you prefer Reaper?" She never normally acted this way to loners... she was generally cocky, but this brute had something about him that made her act slightly differently. He was different than most other wolves that she had met and she was curious about him even more so because of that. "Now now, causing chaos won't get you anywhere. At least, not unless you have someone to help you out with it." She smirked at him and flicked her tail behind her. She flicked her head to brush the small amount of fur from her eyes so she could see a little better with her glowing golden optics.[/blockquote] ((Major writers block... sorry guys.))

Blue, green orbs stared angrily at the brute before her. He was trying to phsych her out, and it wasn't working. It was actually pissing her off, and she couldn't help but want Channing there as well. Sure this brute thought Bella was afraid, but she wasn't afriad for herself no. Carabella cared not about her safety, but the safety of the pack.
She could not belive that he was getting away with teasing Tola. And that Tola was teasing back. The large white fae had seemed cold and rude, when she had met Bella the first time, and yet here she was with this murderous brute, laughing and joking with him. What was wrong with the world?
Bella nuzzled Ceres' shoulder in thanks, and the fae let off with her comforting gestures, once Bella had gotten ahold of herself. Though when Zenb looked at her, trying to strike a fear in her, Ceres stepped foward, breaking the gaze, and growled out her name. It was the rudest Bella had ever seen her, and she felt special that it was for her.
Now Tola was asking name prefrences!? What the hell? What would the foolish decsision of the wolfess mean for the Misuteriasu Mountains Pack? Her friends Channing and Ceres? 'You want Channing to be more than your friend and you know it' Wait what? What the hell brain! STOP THAT. Bella shook the thoughts out of her head. She peered around Ceres' multi-colored body to look at the brute, she stared at him, her eyes silently showing she wasn't going ot take any of his shit.

The distaste ran sweet in the air around him. His nose twitched with a content smirk. His yellow eyes didn’t flinch from the protective growl given to him by Ceres. His long fluffy tail founds itself around his legs in a rather bored way. He was content with the intriguing behavior the female, who was playing alpha, was displaying. If she was wise she would keep her curiosity to herself. You know what they say about that damn cat. His long ears twitched as she questioned which title would suit him better and his black lips crept upright to barley expose his canines, “It depends on my particular mood which would better suite me. The choice is yours on which you would like to address me by.” He said in a cool and collected manner.
The shadows tugged at him in protest. They displeased staying in one location for so long. They desired to roam the lands and seek out all the vulnerable positions of the lands. He nodded towards their winning shrills and turned towards his little group, “Well, thanks for the warm and fuzzy welcoming. I think I will go and test the waters of my new.. Home..” he said in a dangerous implying tone. His eyes were ablaze with mystery as he turned his head just a touch to see Bella and winked at her.
“Care to accompany me my chaos companion?” he inquired. His voice was liquid cool as he turned his back to the group. His tail flicked as the shadows slithered up it to great his backside. They tugged at his molecules and begged for him to become one with them. He allowed them to manipulate his backside to become amalgamated. He was curious what was running through the other wolves head, and how much possible danger they felt radiate from his flesh.

Her eyes flitted about nervously beneath their lids. She had gone back to sleep, though it was fitful and troubled. Now she slowly opened her eyes and yawned loudly, a thumping headache making her want to bang her head against the wall until it stopped or she was knocked out.
She felt groggy. The metallic taste of blood in her mouth would not go away and the sense of foreboding residing deep in her gut was now stronger than ever. She gave a glance around, violet eyes glimmering in the gloom. Still nobody. She had no way of telling how long she slept, though it could not have been long as the others were not yet back.
Pushing herself up using her front paws, Elva padded slowly to the entrance of the den, her eyes and the silvery star marking upon her forehead lighting the way, the only light bar that of the shining moon. She watched for signs of movement, checking twice that Channing was still sleeping peacefully and leapt up atop a rock so that she had a better view.
Hidden in the mountains, the den had an amazing view of the packlands, though with the lack of light all Elva really saw was dense forest and mountains. She chewed her lip fervently, worry rising up in her throat. Perhaps she should call them, but more than likely her pitiful excuse for a howl would not reach half as far as the border of the packlands. Better to sit here and wait.

((Okay, that's what I thought... just making sure xP)) Tola watched as the brute spoke up. She heard the growls and felt the body language the other wolves around her were feeling, but she ignored it. Her father wanted strong pack members, and she could tell this brute was strong... her mind was set on pleasing her father, and that was what she had in mind. She flicked her tail and adjusted her wings slightly, standing and taking a small step forward.
"Careful what chaos you decide to provoke. You wouldn't want to endanger the pack." She figured this brute had no idea how strong her father was, especially now... but if this brute intended on harming the pack in any way, she knew that he would quickly meet his demise, which was part of her accepting reasoning. Karma would set things right in the world, so this brute, whatever he has or had done, would come back to bite him in the ass, one way or another. She took another pawstep forward and saw the brute begin to fade into shadows. Interesting ability. she thought to herself quietly as she took another pawstep forward. She wasn't sure what her packmates were going to do or say about her following the brute, but she was pretty good about being on her own... besides, she could heal herself if anything happened. "Pack rules, no one pack member should travel alone, therefore, if none of these other wolves will join you, then it shall be me." She smirked at him and flicked her tail once more, nudging each of the pack wolves beside her reassuringly.[/blockquote]

My body was hunkered relatively low to the hard ground, ready to spring if needed. It was obvious to both my companions and the brute I didn't trust nor like the brute before us. But, despite that fact, Tola continued to joke around with him, as if he hadn't just killed a fellow wolf moments before. My maw was contorted into a scowl, my emerald eyes narrowed on Zen's frame. His name alone disgusted me. It made me think of what he had done to the poor defenceless wolf. He didn't deserve a name, I thought. But, hey, that was just my opinion.
Tola seemed to have a completely different opinon on the matter. The fae just continued to joke and tease the brute. She even offered to accompany him to where ever he intended to go. Like much of the events this evening, it disgusted me. Now, I hardly knew Tola, but she seemed smarter than that. Tola was the daughter of Lucid and Mira and I was sure they had taught her to be at least a little wary of strangers. Yet, she wasn't. It was a tad annoying to say the least.
At her assuring nudges, I turned my gaze on her. "I don't believe that's a good idea, Tola," I said, my unease clear in my voice. After a few silent seconds, though, I sighed. "If you are to go, then I will as well," I stated. As I said before, we're pack mates and we're supposed to protect one another. There was no way I was letting her leave with Zen all on her own.

Resentment settled in his gaze as he watched the female stand up. He had wanted Tola to come with him and her alone. His tail flicked behind him ever so slowly. His yellow gaze fixed on the female but not a word was uttered. He was, after all, and omega for the time being. Once he had gained himself a relatively larger rank then his voice could be heard. But for the time being, he would need to obey the pack ranking system.
He disregarded the other female, whose roving eyes danced on him like a laser on an ant. He turned slowly to face Tola once more and nodded. “No, my particular idea of chaos for the evening isn’t involving in harming anyone.” He offered in a small seductive suggestion. He was merely being playful at the moment. After all, death was his mark but it could wait for another day. Killing wasn’t the only little pleasures he enjoyed. His yellow gaze shifted back towards his trophy. It laid forgotten a few feet from where he had previously stood. A slight desire tickled his soul and the urge to retrieve his prize was more then overwhelming. This was unfortunately one of his degrading traits. His obsession with his possessions was greater then he could control.
He turned to collect his specimen. His yellow eyes moved over towards Bella once more. The shadows whispered into his ear and he smiled. His ivory fangs glinted against the darkness of his shadows. He carefully picked up his decease meals heart and turned to move off from the group. If Tola wanted to be with him alone, then she would by all means say so. She was a big girl after all.
