While we welcome beginners, members must be willing to work towards the Intermediate - Advanced level of writing. All posts are expected to be literate, past tense, and must meet the minimum word requirement of 250 words per character. It was one that I had created before we decided we wanted Bondi Blue for the skin, so it was easy enough to just transfer it. It was the skin that I had originally decided I was going to use, but instead we created an entirely new skin for the revamp. Click the links above and you shall have all your questions answered! 17 May 2010 The Mountains have been rather quiet lately. What's stirring to the North? Could it be that the lands are anticipating what is to come? Has Lucid made a mark and set out to repeat a history he has already lived in the past? No one really seems to know what the large brute's current plans are for sure, save for a select few. Even those few who do know seem to be keeping their mouths quiet at the moment. For what purpose is this eerie calm that has spread its thick fingers in the North? Perhaps only time will tell. Wolves seem to still converge at this point, requesting acceptance to the lands with temporary Alpha's. And what was with Baztek? His brief appearance seemed to have jostled and even unnerved both of Lucid's pups... where will this lead in the large brutes ultimate plans? 17 May 2010 Cindershock has finally given birth to two wonderful pups. Sadly, the third pup that was born was still born. While this has saddened the young Alphen pair, Cindershock and Zephyr, their hearts and minds remain strong for the pack and for their two newborn wolves. Masina, having helped deliver the pups, is saddened, but remains strong for the pack as well, especially with what stir her brother has caused in the lands of Aelyn. With Cinder and Zephyr's new born pups, the Waterfall packlands are on edge more so than most others. 17 May 2010 Lucid has come to greet the newly founded Alphess of the lands of the Toko Forest. What purpose does his treading upon her lands serve? No hostility has been shown, so perhaps his words he speaks are true? Is he really there just to meet her and to learn about the other Alphas, like what should have been done in the past? With no Sacred Circle meetings, none of the Alpha's truly know one another. Is this what Lucid is doing or does he have more hidden motives? And what about the other pack members? This is by far the largest pack in Aelyn, so what motives could Lucid have aside from a friendly conversation? 17 May 2010 Things have been fairly quiet in these lands, much like the Mountains. Is it because these are the only wolves that know what kind of power Lucid is really wielding? Lydia, one of their more unique pack members, so to speak, has told the pack the basics, aside from Kerrigan and Zephora of course, who know everything that Lucid has become. What will the Marshland Wolves do with this knowledge? Keep it to themselves or share it with the other packs? Both options have their merits, but surely one idea outweighs the other? Time is of the essence. In these lurid lands, all packs keep to themselves. The once-ways of the alphas meeting under the guidance of the Ancestors have been long forgotten. But whether or not the gods have forgotten these lands, or are simply letting the mortals go their separate ways is unclear. The strongest pack of the lands is the northern Misuteriasu Mountain pack. Led by a powerful brute and his mate, the subordinate count reaches the skies. They have all been drawn to the lands by the essence of power that radiates from the strong leadership. Lucid, their alpha, is both one to be feared and respected. He and his mate, Mira, both wear mysterious collars that seem to radiate as much power as both of them combined. After acquiring these collars, Lucid randomly attacked the Nigori Marshlands, specifically the wolf Lydia - a vampire. In her own defense she bit him, creating something even more powerful than what was before. Taking advantage of his new-found strength and immortality, Lucid claimed the Kumori Plains as his own, doubling his expanse of territory. The free lands exist no more. All wolves who call themselves loners must either acknowledge Lucid as their alpha, or find another home; for if Lucid is denied, their lives are the cost. This brute's intentions are clear: all the lands will soon belong to him and the Misuteriasu Mountain pack. The packs of other lands are shaken by this. And even though the alphas called meetings of their own members, they have yet to communicate with one another. None but the wolves of Nigori know Lucid's true strength. Even if another pack were to stand up to him, their fates would be sealed. Rainy weather brings new life to all areas of Aelyn and flowers begin to dapple the lands once more, bringing color to the previously barren terrains. Misuteriasu Mountains As spring falls into the Mountains, the snow begins to melt, though the highest peaks never lose the white blanket that covers them. Prey begins to run around, though as usual, the prey is the least abundant here due to the high altitudes, though the occasional mountain goat is found and food enough for the entire pack. The hot springs begin to fill more and steam as a dense fog falls all around the mountains, creating a shield and a cover for wolves who are unable to use their other senses to see through the dense cloud cover. This also proves to be treacherous for any wolves who are not careful, leading to cliffs where an unsuspecting wolf could just as easily step off the edge into a death below should they not watch their step. Fukai Waterfalls The waterfalls have begun to melt as the torrents cascade faster and faster with each passing day. Prey flourishes in the lands as the water and the lake unthaw from the heavy winter. Ice and slush join the raging and flowing waterfall as the snows from the higher parts of the mountains begin to cause the river to flood ever so slightly, causing the waterfall to flow more fluidly and dangerously than before. The water temperature is still ice cold from the cold water that runs from the mountains, creating a soothing drinking supply for all waterfall wolves. Toko Forest As spring rolls in, color begins to return to the lands of the forest. The trees begin to grow green buds on them, bringing new life to the lands in the never-ending cycle that the forest always goes through. Prey is beginning to wake from their deep slumbers and rain is beginning to fall to bring more green to the canopies and to the lands, so the underbrush can begin to flourish once more. Nigori Marshlands This almost tropical climate begins to heat up and warm up, flooding in many places as the river runs faster. Prey wakes from its hibernation and moves with grace over the lands gathering food for their small families. The air is dense with a light moisture as the weather gets warmer and warmer, causing the climate to be slightly more humid than the other lands, though still nothing compared to summertime. 	.: Misuteriasu Mountains :. Conditions upon these mountaintops can be very hazardous. Vicious snowstorms and blinding winds tear through these ranges. At the highest most peak of the mountains, there is a volcano, which gives life to the hot springs that erupt from several regions of the mountains themselves. The numerous caves and dwellings found here provide a great place for shelter and the conditions are a great defense to any oncoming attackers. 	.: Fukai Waterfall :. This beautiful waterfall is a wonderful sight for any. It falls into the beautiful Fukai Lake. Behind the waterfall is a large cavern, a perfect spot for a den, should you not mind constant dampness. The pathway leading behind the waterfall is very slippery and dangerous... only those well equipped or well balanced can get through unscathed. Very strategic for a battlefront or a place to keep enemies at bay. Several waterfalls grace the lands, though the biggest falls into the lake. 	.: Toko Forest :. The forest is beautiful. All sorts of trees grow with striking glory throughout this territory. Evergreens always leave a dark shade in every season, while many others turn and fall in autumn. The trees are thin around the edges of the territory, but they become so thick near the center, that wolves usually need to go one at a time. Vines cover the tree trunks, soft moss the floor. Roots and rocks can catch the unwary, so a good step is needed for this land. The dens are right in the middle, in a almost clear space in the thickest part of the forest. 	.: Nigori Marshlands :. These lands are big. Located in the southern portion of Aelyn, it borders a large part of the Kumori Plains which are a branch from it. The land is made of long marsh grass that can hide pools of stagnant water a quicksand. There many small dry places where a wolf can rest. Near the northern corner of the territory is a small corpse of trees that are low and dripping with moss. It is a small section of dry lands that leads to the outside lands. In the center of Nigori is a large plateau. It isn't huge, but it is raised about 5 feet of dry earth and hold the camp of the pack. Large bolders are everywhere, burried deep and the wolves use these for dens. 	.: Paradise :. The life inside the pack lands has been left. The soul has left the physically body and they come here, to Paradise. the heaven for the wolves of Aelyn. Here they do not have to fight for food, for land. All is provided. 	.: Kumori Plains :. This area is a land that belongs to no one. No wolf can claim this land for it has been left to the loner wolves. The plains, filled with wildflowers, tall grasses, bounties of prey and very little shelter, makes for a poor place to seek a home, though a home can be found here beneath some dug-out hills or fallen trees. It is beautiful, if not a perfect place to live.
